General Marvel Legends

Replacements are usually just matching MSRP and toy category.

I've had Legends replaced with non Legends product, but usually they keep it in the family. The best was when I got several transformers to make up for a defect on my studio Optimus Prime, and they ended up being rare ones that flipped very nicely.

Yeah I just didn't expect that 3 year old Lady Bullseye with a brand new Maximum figure. I'm sure I'll be able to get a decent price for both though.

I just gotta throw the Maximum Deadpool minus Doop up on ebay (unless anybody here wants it at a discounted price, I'd much rather it go to an AT member than some rando on the bay) and I'll be throwing the Lady Bullseye up there too since I have no interest in that character either.
How much are you asking, Nik?

Were DaCosta and Doug really short in NM? I don't think I've seen Cannonball depicted as very tall in X-Force or any other book besides NM. Granted, I haven't read much of either, but I'm assuming everyone caught up to Cannonball.
Yeah, I've always looked at it like DaCosta and Doug hadn't hit their growth spurts yet. Now that they're full grown adults, they're closer in height.

Exactly. I wouldn't balk if they did modern outfits with just a head swap between them. But the size difference matters for the OG team since they were all teenagers.

And hey, how about including a Warlock skateboard for Doug somewhere in there? Please and thanks.

Hah! Not lying, I'd LOVE to have that as a pack-in!

I had made that suggestion as well, presuming he’d get new pinless arms and legs.

I think it might be okay. I’ve got ‘Berto standing with the GS X-Men and he’s actually taller than Nightcrawler. Surprised me. So pizza Spidey might work.

EDIT: Okay, wow. In a surprise move, ‘Berto is actually a lot taller than I thought he was.

His boot cuffs on down are different pieces right? So it'd be really easy so swap out the legs from the hip down to the bootcuffs for longer or shorter legs.

Since Hasbro obviously love capitalizing on those nostalgia feels, here's a profitable idea for a fun sub-line: "Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe"...
-> First off, every figure is posed in the blister plastic exactly like the handbook or basically, boring by default. Maybe even design the packaging box with a 2nd window in the back and a 3rd on the left side so you get the three standard viewing angles? Just a thought. If not, definitely have the police line-up height ruler printed on the interior cardboard.
-> Exterior packaging designs include all the bullet point specifications for the particular character and a brief write-up.
-> Maybe each wave could have alphabetical themes like, A-D, E-H, I-L, etc.? I dunno; that might not work well. Again, just a thought.
-> Include alternate portraits when applicable, along with all the usual bells & whistles.
-> Obviously distribute via fan channel or Pulse exclusive, as A-listers shall not be included in this line.
-> And as a unintended bonus, to the delight of @RichardSimmonsRobot, everyone gets knife hands!! Lol

But seriously though Hasbro, please send the profit royalties checks to L. Silverback, City Zoo, Gorilla Enclosure.
First: Love this idea. But windows on 3 sides of the card would make it pretty hard to have much info on the box. Hasbro would have to have stronger cardboard for the corners for sure.

I wish one of the toy "influencers" would ask the team if they view the more animated X-Men 97 looks as meant to blend with the main Legends releases when they think of team building.

Basically, if they are focusing on the New Mutants now, is the Roberto X-Men 97 release the "Roberto" release that goes with Magik? If not does it suggest another powered up Sunspot but from the early days? Alt-heads like has been suggested with Doug? I don't expect them to be too forthcoming about plans but more are they thinking they have checked off Roberto and Magik for the original team in training uniforms.

I really hope not. Some of the '97 releases are fudgible with comic releases. Byrne Cyclops... barely. Archangel doesn't appear too stylized. I'm not sure what the costume differences are between comic and cartoon - but I'm happy to put this with my comic display.

Pretty much all of the other releases have very animated looking hair and features. Sunspot and Morph's bodies are also way too animated looking for a comic display.

I agree, but I'd like to know what they are thinking - I haven't been getting the 97 figures but Roberto being his only release in that uni makes me wonder what the strategy is (if any).

I generally agree, but the X-Men 97 Sunspot body works for the comic teenage NM imo.
