General Marvel Legends

Random GR thoughts. Love the set. The only way this could've been better was if we also got a Johnny head and neck to swap out for a definitive combo with this bike. Come on, "classic" stand-alone transforming JB figure.

Speaking of, I really like the look of the flame-encased head on the transforming Johnny figure. It doesn't pop on, but at least sits at the correct height. The black skull and shirt are a perfect match, as are the flames of the head and neck. Looks pretty slick. Not going to replace my "burning flesh" Johnny, though.

Oh, and I am so tempted to make a gif of the Logan bike transforming in the hell-cycle. I know exactly how I would do it, but don't really want to start investing time into the project.

Do Dan and Dwight read these boards, or do they mostly follow fan videos on YouTube?
They're definitely aware of us thanks to board members who attend SDCC and other events. I'm sure more attention is paid to social media places simply cause that's where the majority of the traffic is, but I imagine people on the ML team pop in here from time to time to get a breath of fresh air after hanging out in those noxious environs.

Well, I can tell you that way back when Marvel Legends first started, social media did not exist. No youtube, facebook or instagram. Message boards were all we had back then. If you wanted to talk Marvel Legends you had to go to a message board. The FWOOSH was a popular destination and had a lot of traffic back in those days. Marvel.com didn't host their own boards like DC did so FWOOSH was really the place to go. In fact, Jesse Falcon himself used to be a regular on there. It was great having Jesse around. He was surprisingly forthcoming with information so that was pretty cool. A lot of industry professionals would lurk there.

And then Hasbro bought the Marvel license and the interaction ceased, but I know that Jesse and the other team members still lurked because he would bring up our discussion points at SDCC. So would Dwight,

My friend @hmmberto is being modest here, but the articulatedthoughts.com trading cards™ were all his idea and he's the one who had them made. You can read more about it right here, but having the cards made and given to the team at comic con was our way of letting them know that we are here. That was a brilliant idea.

Here's the team with their cards:

They are here and they're listening. And that is really cool.
