General Marvel Legends

Would actually make for a perfect SDCC exclusive. Non-essential, but big time fan service. Might require a ton of new tooling though...
Which I would think I could pass on hearing it and then they have really cool head sculpts or something and make me cave.

Sadly I would but them in sports clothes, their regular street clothes for mall shopping and Christmas outings, and probably some sort of formal wear given my desire for a tuxedo Gambit after X97.

A quick random assistance ask for the X-Men aficionados out there:
Knowing I'm a Marvel nut, my mother-in-law bought me this T-shirt for my birthday...

...and while I love the X-Men, as most know I'm not super well-versed on the modern stuff. I figured this was likely called X-Men First Class, but when I search for info/images I can't seem to find anything where they have the X on their chests; only on their abdomens.
What run is this design from? Is it a one-off? Please educate me.

Happened to find myself pootling about the bargain bins and found Nighthawk and Blur going for a song:

I guess I'm gonna have to track down the other two now, right? I probably should read the actual story one of these days too as it goes...

However, even better than that, I found The King going for a song, a mere ten bucks for abject greatness!

Hyperion/Dr Spectrum set is $23 on Amazon at the moment.

I have all the Squadron and other than Dr. Spectrum they are all pretty decent to great, (Spectrum is just on too old a buck to be considered anything above good for my collection,) but they heavily reinforce for me just how worthless Jason Aaron's Avenger run was. Marvel obviously thought it was going to be big because they got these figures out before the run ended, but I really don't see anybody talking about these characters anywhere except in toy forums. I think it just shows Marvel thinks a hot writer can write anything, and it's just not true. They tried to have Aaron be their universe's architect and that failed, then Cates and that failed, then McKay and that is failing. Maybe don't have one guy in charge, maybe a group like DC has with Waid, Williamson, and Snyder? I say this because DC has been the best its been in 20 years right now. Superman alone is at a creative high point I haven't seen since Rebirth, and before they let Bendis kill that book's readers interest.

Anyone know of any Marvel Legends figures with bare caucasian fleshtoned legs? I'm trying to make an extra basketball Rogue I have into a bodysuit/swimsuit one-piece Rogue and would like to swap out the legs. I can swap the ankle cuffs and the yellow feet easy enough, but most bare legged female figures only go down to the calf swivel and then it's a boot. I was thinking Dark Avengers Warbird, but I'd need to know if her legs below the knee are cast in flesh toned plastic or cast in black.

Basically trying to make this, since the onesie on X97 Basketball Rogue is pretty similar already. I'm not that concerned about the glasses or tiara:

I've not gotten to the part where I'm good enough to swap pinless knees yet. Thanks!

Dark Avengers Warbird would have been my suggestion, or Medusa. Will confirm the paint thing soon as I can.

I had been very much hoping Shanna would be based on the Kubert art and single carded so I could get lots of suitable custom fodder from her for exactly what you describe, but alas no.

The only really bare-legged female I can think of is sadly blue-skinned Namorita but even she has very undainty feet and ankle holes for the tiny wings, so it’s very much a kitbash task.

Best recipe I can come up with so far is…

- Hip to knee:
As mentioned, Medusa, White Rabbit, ‘97 Marvel Girl, Dark Avengers Ms. Marvel, etc

- Knee to ankle:
I think the only candidate that even vaguely might work is HoX Moira?

- Feet
There’s a set of bare female feet which I think first came with IM3 Pepper, and might be what Namorita has but in blue, but the only set of actually good dainty female feet are on Spiderverse tracksuit pants Peter.

Do all those parts fit together to make a good overall bare leg set? Don’t know, haven’t gotten around to assembling them yet because I’m lazy and have too many kitbash projects lying in piles around my room but I think it’s the best set of options we have so far

Well I can't be too far gone as an X-Men enthusiast if others are after the same custom Rogue as I'm thinking up. So I appreciate the confirmation that I'm not completely insane in wanting it. I'll have to check Medusa and White Rabbit. Namorita was the one that came to mind the easiest, but I'm not experienced in figure painting much, so I was hoping to be able to just swap. I was considering leaving the leg cuffs and the yellow booties on her and only worrying about the legs for the most part, but I'll check out Moira too. Shanna was my first go to, then the obvious candidate of Savageland Rogue, but as you said; furry calf boots galore and I hate to start parting out exclusive SDCC figures just to make my own kooky "on a whim" custom. I'll have to do further research or see if they eventually just come out with a figure who's bare legged throughout to swap those parts onto at some point, but I appreciate the detailed summary!
