General Marvel Legends

Got the 2 variant (2nd player?) Sentinels and they look really great. Nice shine on the paints. Tried a Prof. X head on the green and purple one for a quick Lex look, but the head is a bit tiny and it sits way too high, so that not happening. Fun to build up my Sentinel army.
 
I’m so stoked to get the Superman and Lex colored Sentinels! Seeing that they have that metallic sheen makes me even more pumped. The pictures I’ve seen remind me of those wild crazy-colored Jack Kirby prints that circulate from time to time. My sets *should* be here tomorrow, can’t wait to play a little “Zombies vs Robots” with these guys and my Classified Mole Rats.
 
I got two sets of the variant Sentinels. They don’t do much for me. But I still wanted to add them to my ranks. In my head, they’ll have specialty functions to se them apart from standard pink/purple Sentinels.
 
I was tempted to get them, but then I'd need to assemble an X-Men arcade squad of mutants and that was a rabbit hole I said no to.

How did I not realize the Superman / Lex thing. Goddamn it, flew right over my head. (Haven't had time to open them but got them from Pulse this morning.)

All we've heard is that there are potentially 2 BAF waves this year.
Characters that have been rumored/leaked in association with either wave are:
Marrina
Ghost Rider
Wolverine ("latest comic version" written next to the name on a "leaked" document)
Hawkeye (Bullseye/Dark Avengers Hawkeye speculated)
Psylocke
Lady Deadpool
Iron Man MK3 Gray
U.S.Agent

One of the BAFs has been stated by Dwight as a "team completer".
 
I’m finding it difficult to come up with a BAF that completes a team. Most just flesh out a team, but one that actually completes one…
Original Bill Foster: Black Goliath to complete the original Campions of LA?

I considered Box as well as Jolsten Goliath or Atlas. Even MicroMax. While they all develop a team, none of them complete a team.

I like the idea of getting that costume to add to the Champions, but I love his white disco costume so much I'd be sad if we didn't get it instead!

As crappy a figure as it is, I'm still grateful to have the Gigantic Battles Goliath. Who can easily work as his nephew Tom Foster if they ever get around to making a new Bill.
