G.I. Joe Toys on Sale

Main Frame I get. He was kinda meh back in the day. Sci Fi is surprising, though.

Also, saw a report of someone finding a Stinger at Ross for $30. I can't imagine I'd ever get that lucky. There's a lone Stinger at my nearest Walmart on an overhead shelf and I scan that damn thing with my phone everytime I'm in there hoping it's been clearanced. No luck. Everything else from the collector display is long gone. I'm thinking they don't know it's there to go through the motions of putting it on clearance.

Are there in store scanners?

I have found, in Canada at least, using the app on your phone to get a price just gives you the website price. I did that today when something wouldn't scan on the wall scanner. Took it to an employee who scanned it with their phone (they had a store scanner right in their hand????!!!!). Anyway the figure came up full price $25Cdn even though price tag said $11Cdn. When I went to the cash register it came up at $9Cdn. I have seen this happen, and reported, a number of times up here. It may be the same in the US.

Nope, no more store scanners. In my experience, if you scan something and it doesn't give you a price that's a good sign at which point you take it to a register or someone with a scanner and it's usually at a clearance price.

But you never know, next time I'm there I'll take it to electronics and see if they can scan it at the register there.

Yeah it can also be store employees being a bit slow to get the changes on the price tags.

This morning I found the Transformers Retro carded Seaspray and Brawn at my local Walmart. There were reports that they had been dropped in price again (retail was $36Cdn +tax, then down to $25Cdn and now $15Cdn). So I went in and they were still marked at $25 but when I scanned them, they came up as $15.

So yeah it is usually beneficial to get them scanned if you can. Sucks that your store doesn't have them anymore and you have to go all the way to a register.

Managed to snag a Budo for $17.49 at Target yesterday. They weren't marked at all, but the Royal Guards are taking their spot in the planogram so Budo and the cop seem to be on the way out.

Ooh... gotta see if I can get another Budo at that price. He's so good I want to make 3 different figures out of him.

Thanks for the heads up, I'll have to check these on the scanners tomorrow at my two local Targets. I want Budo and haven't picked him up yet and I'd absolutely more cops at 50% off or more.
