That's where I am too. I don't think women can't be CGs but I don't want to get two of her and was hoping to have her be a distinct single character. BUT, we've established there are three characters they can use this body for at least.

True, but is she a comic character? That's the exciting part to me, what this means for what else can come. It's like if they announce Bongo the Balloon Bear. Not what I'm too excited for, but very excited for the marvel door to be open.

Lady Crimson Guard. I was going to limit myself to one Crimson Guard, now I gotta get another.
Curious to see what they do with the Hydro-Viper.
Over all some good reveals.
Time to celebrate with some deep dish ‘za.
 
Zap's head is kind of eh, but otherwise he is faithful. boring, but faithful.
XL's head is AWFUL and will need to be swapped for the NF version ASAP. God, what were they thinking?
Female CG is fine. I'll grab a couple.

The reveals are neat. Happy with the 2 pack, though Red Dog was never my favorite character (The modern 3 3/4 had Lennys face, I wonder if the new one will too?).

I sold my Dreadnoks, but the fact they're doing Zanya is really cool.

Hydro Viper is an awesome design.

NF Zartan... I dont care. At all.

Nah. Well... yes. But no. The face literally screams 'Yo Joe' but you can't do the fist in the air pose, which sucks. If you really feel like you need to do a screaming face then I respect that, but at least give me options in how to use it. The reason I don't say 'an alternate head' is that I do get that optional hands are generally WAY less expensive to produce than optional heads.
 
Fair enough. This won't surprise some of you, but also may piss you off, but Crazylegs is another I would have gotten the Night Force version if given the option. BUT, he's not someone I was really aching to have, so no big deal either way.

I'm really happy for your Ninja Force guys, and for those who want all the original 13.

I actually don't really want any version of Crazy Legs. Don't care about the character at all. I definitely won't ever buy the figure online or anything. It's just one of those color schemes where if I see it in person I might just grab it because it's so bright and silly and nostalgic.

I feel the first way but not the second way about the whole 'O-13' thing. Most of them are boring as fuck and I don't really care about them at all, AND they're not visually interesting in a way that would make me grab them if I saw them in store. I definitely had an O13 display back in the 25A days, when I had basically every Joe figure being released. But nowadays, at these prices? Nah.

Yeah, in my head he was someone to get because I never had Airborne, but I STILL never had Crazylegs either, and Freefall was someone I got because I didn't have Airborne or Crazylegs, heh.

Agree on the boring part. I did get Grunt and Breaker, but both had interesting aspects to me. Grunt, stupid as it may be, it was his haircut, heh. And I did get Rock N Roll for the tats. But anyone else, I'd be open to later versions of them where they were spiced up if that's an option. I have a weird sweet spot for "not super boring basic fatigues" but also "not outlandish sci-fi looking".
 
I don’t care about the O13 either, but I’ve gotten all the ones that are easy to get. I skipped Hawk, as nice as he looks, because I really don’t want the missile launcher. I have no room for that. And I love the leather jacket look for him a lot more. So it’s not like he isn’t represented.

Perfect example. I didn't even know Hawk HAD a figure until that jacket one, so that's Hawk in my head anyway. But yeah, I'm open to the characters but don't need them in their original uniforms. Even Snake Eyes I didn't keep my 'first version' version, and V3 will be the one when they do it. Even Scarlett I'd be open to something updated, maybe kinda like her Renegades look.
 
Zap is perhaps the most boringly bland looking generic army figure in human history, he's practically perfection in a weird way. Crazy Legs, eh, he's underwhelming, not fussed. The CG is great but with the caveat that I went for the Classified CGs over the Retro ones, so her brighter shade of red is gonna mess with my OCD rather.

Well chuffed to see Zanya on the schedule, hopefully we'll get Bombstrike and Heartwrecker sooner rather than later too.

Agreed all around, only for me it's the all silver mask on the CG since I like the mostly black one. But THANK YOU for bringing up the shade of red, it's something I'm anxious about with the hypothetical female Vipers but hadn't even considered with the CG. If she doesn't match the ones I have, yeah I'll internally freak out.
 
You know what: Addendum. I'm gonna advocate for for the Plain Jane (Joe?) O13 green guys. I think there something to these simple uniform dudes that make the more vibrant characters stand out that much more in a good way. I wasn't gonna get many of the Team Green, but F' it, i think I'm gonna get Zap, Steeler and Short-Fuze and one more Green Shirt.
