Day 51 - Golobulus (Animated) (11/3/25)

The last Cobra-La character is arguable the biggest, surely he's on the verge of being announced. Continuing another week of animated characters with Golobulus!

I don't like that guy, but he needs to be made. I'm not sure following a guy who thinks a genetically altered snake tail is a better source of locomotion than legs is a wise decision. You can't where fancy shoes or show of your gams at the beach with a snake tail.
 
I was saying this in another thread, but it bears repeating the conjecture - I hope they make him with the organic orb cocoon AND the snake tail, so that the tail is permanently attached to his torso and it can coil and fit into the cocoon. I don't want them to be swappable. I don't know what the best course of action should be for the tail, for it to be articulated with hinge joints (which looks too odd and angular) or to be a bendy wire tail. Maybe like Shuma Gorath's limbs or Jurassic Park Hammond Collection tails. I don't love the hollowness of SG's limbs when they get bent though, it looks like kinks in a hose. This is gonna be a tough one to engineer, but if they do it right and well, I wouldn't freak out over a high price point.
 
If they did it like the scorpions tail, I'd be happy. Yeah, it is segmented, but it still looks and works really great. I'd probably keep him in the Orb anyways though.
 
This would be another money saver for me. I was never into the Cobra-La stuff. I hope all those who want him, get him, but he’s a pass for me.
 
Yeah I'm another who will pass but definitely want him made. I would love a retro Nemesis Enforcer or some other shot at him again, but I never liked Golobulus' design even though I'm huge on Medusa and the Conan movie. Watch them give him some neat helmet or alt head that turns me around on him tho.
