Did those "dispersible landmines" actually come off the missiles? I wouldn't call this a must-have but it has that old school "insane, but plausible" thing that the better vehicles all share.

Yep, you had to take the nosecone off to slide them out, but they were detachable.

Day 60 - Mudbuster (RAH) (4/3/26)

It's the weekend and we don't mind a little mud on the playground with 1993's battle truck! Yeah it looks like a jeep for toddlers but it's got that patented smash'n'bash bumper!

Oddly, I have no recollection of this vehicle at all. Like.. my brain is telling me we just learned this existed today, even though that cannot be true.
It's a hard maybe. Looks fun, and it's the right mix of chonky vehicle with 'can still see my toys.'

Chonky is exactly the right word, thank you. I was definitely out of Joe vehicles by this point, but I was still kinda aware of the line until it ended, but I also have no memory of this.

I remember continuing to read Tomart and other toy magazines well after I 'stopped buying toys', which didn't exactly happen because when Kenner did the AVP figures, I was all over them, and did collect toy biz stuff some too, both of which were firmly "I wish I'd had this as a kid, so I'm buying it now damnit". And apparently maintained the rest of my life.

But yeah, even if you showed this to me out of the box, I wouldn't have guess it was a Joe vehicle.

Jesus Christ, probably the second funniest thing I've seen you say today. If they do a Classified version of that Beach Head, I will never look at him and not think "fishing outfit". That is TOTALLY how Beach Head dresses for a day at the lake.

Yeah, shooting that middle into the water is a nice cheat for getting a whole lot of fish all at once.
This could be a fun vehicle to adapt to Classified. Definite maybe, depending on actual execution (and price).

They are...but they could have picked two characters that don't look the same. Driving is 93 Bazooka, and firing is 93 Leatherneck.

Looking through these years, it looks like 92 was the last year I had any new Joes, and it was only 2 at that. 91 was the last year I had any new vehicles.
