Four Horsemen Studios Mythic Legions

For all the things I nitpick about the line, their dwarves are consistently good. I was just messing with the dwarven monk last night (who looks wildly similar to the one from the D&D Secret Level episode) and he's just... FUN.
 
I overpaid for the Nymph/Churl figure for the exclusives even though I probably could've waited for a standard, just cracked her open. Honestly, love the figure. Got some weird nitpicks but they don't detract from the figure, truly. I wish 4H and anyone like them would NOT make you need to disassemble the goddamned figure to swap parts out. I want to display her as the nymph so I'd rather not have the (cool but not thematically appropriate) belt on her. But you really can't just pop the belt off. Gotta take her torso apart, and she's got soft goods so you gotta get the soft goods wet to pop the torso. So I'll just leave the belt.

Also the two hair looks for the Nymph head really fight on the cloak. The cloak is, in a word, cool. But it doesn't really work with the hair I want to use. I mean I'm going to stick it on someone else because it's a great cloak. It'll be used. But not the way I want to use it. I want her lil fairy wings peaking out from a dark cloak.

End of the day, I do like the figure itself. It almost suffers for having too many options than the reverse.
 
The Bear mount is the only thing I ordered from this wave... but he is a must have as the mount for Vikor in my motu classics display. Eager for him.
 
Broddr went from "I kinda want this figure" when I first ordered the wave to being my biggest want. I think I've just consumed so much Viking-adjacent media in the years between order and shipping that it's one of those funny convergences where I want this specific figure EVEN MORE now than during the hype phase.
 
I’m hoping by “Late (Month)” they’re counting those drops as basically covering the next month’s drop…

So Arkhan is essentially February’s drop and the Game is March…

Because otherwise this leaves a gap and I don’t want a surprise March Obscura when the April In Stock is gonna be PRICEY!
 
Arkhan's timing is unfortunate because if they drop him, alone, in a month when I don't have much else to order/preorder, I'll probably cave and get him.

I do want that Warrior figure. I have the Nymph but if they have a less expensive version with fewer bells and whistles I wouldn't hate having a Churl, too (I don't want a Revenant). . Qoi has become a must get, though, and all the chatter in the mythology thread...
 
Fortunately it doesn't look like there's anything shown for that "In Stock Sale" promo that I need unless they throw in some curveballs. This line continues to dwindle my interest design-wise as the price just keeps going up. Which is fine with me from a financial perspective.
 
Just got an update that my grizzly bear mounr Bodvar is on the water and making its way to the warehouse... can't wait to put Vikor up on top of it, mounted between Greyskull on Battle Lion and He-Man on Battle Cat.
 
I do want that fish guy from LegionsCon, so I guess I'll have to pay attention.
