Four Horsemen Studios Mythic Legions

I see Dorklair Bill in the Paladin sculpt but that may be more to do with the beard’s black and grey paint up than actual likeness to him. I don’t see Connery in Enoch either. Maybe more the Templar Knight from Last Crusade but again, maybe it’s the context doing that. I really haven’t noticed the likenesses but maybe now I will that I know that’s a thing.
I never thought it was super intentional, but when I preordered him I thought he was a Last Crusade knight homage and in hand I feel like he's going to yell at me about finding the cure to the plague of the 20th century and now he's LOST it! But less of a mimicry of his face and more of a light homage, just kind of a wink and hint I wasn't expecting.

I looked up some screen shots to see if I was crazy and the way the hair on the unhooded head falls over her shoulders Tharice is SPECIFICALLY Mean Girls Lindsay Lohan.

I just found that funny of all the cinematic characters in the world to use as the basis for your half-ghost wizard they went with Cady Heron (now I need to get a hold of that Epic HACKS blue skeleton’s accessories so Tharice can carry around a literal Burn Book)
Tempted to soften the brow now on the human portrait repaint. It would really take it home.

Last update I heard was they were just wrapping up production on them. Could be any day now. I know they’re working to get everything they can on the water before Chinese New Year. I think the next Cosmic and Rising Sons waves will hit kind of simultaneously. The retailer wave might be close behind those too. Plus all the figures they have planned for the in stock sell (Quoi, Thoth, Legacies 2, Crossroads, Armory prebuilts, etc) so it could be quite an expensive early start to the year, even if you prepaid for some of the upcoming waves.

I have tried to look online for any news about Beyithirr updates, but can find none. I would assume there is something being done in this last 9 months, but there doesn't seem to be any news even after the cons. Anyone know anything?

There really isn’t any news yet. They’ve said they’re well under way in pre production but with this being a project first of its kind, it’s going to take a bit. I believe he’s actually scheduled to ship in 2026, which seems unlikely given their track record. But they have significantly started reducing that turn around time on some preorders so who knows. They plan on sharing updates when they have significant developments to share (ie probably when they’ve finished development and tooling is ready so they can show off an articulated sample). Jeremey gets asked every so often on his weekly show but there just hasn’t been any updates to share yet.

I know it's ridiculous, but this dragon is one of those things that if we don't get any news for another year I'd be okay with it. My poor impulse control won out and I don't know where to put it. (That and I'd rather they spend the time to get the engineering right so we don't get a figure that falls apart when you touch it, but that's another discussion entirely.)

100%! I still am unsure where he’ll go when he gets here so I’m not in a big rush either. I know the engineering is their top priority as well. They don’t want this drooping or having issues over time - especially if they want to be able to reuse tooling for other dragons in the future. I’d rather it get done right than quickly. Both is always nice but I’d rather they take their time and get the quality and tooling right so this can be a long term quality display piece. 20 years from now we won’t care if it took a while to happen but we’d always regret that crappy dragon we bought and fell apart if they rush it.
