Four Horsemen Studios Mythic Legions

Balder's Gate 3, the most recent crpg using D&D's setting and system. Really *really* astonishingly good. Stellar writing on the characters and a dizzying array of options. They also do some light design makeovers to a lot of the monsters, the Owlbear being one they clearly spent a lot of time and love on. See here:

Like I said... meaningless to me. I don't care about video games even the littlest bit. Doesn't matter if people think its the greatest game ever made... moves the needle zero degrees for me.

Sure, I wasn't really trying to convince you to play the game, just saying this is the owlbear I see in my head which is why the figure we've got doesn't quite work for me.

Do owlbears eat you while you're still alive or regurgitate you hair, bones and all after picking you apart and feeding you to their owlbearlets?

If the 4H weren't clowns huffing their own farts, the kneecap would be on the TOP of the leg, not jutting out from the shin. Or don't have a solid kneecap that sticks off the leg at all. That looks fucking awful.

Hilariously, and to our earlier points, currently there is only one comment under the Zolo coverage on TNI that even references the -GAME- part of the GAME Kickstarter:
"Not a D&Der but of course I had to throw in for figs and accessory packs. Hope this helps them recover from the video game debacle."

Fucking lol. The only person to even mention the TTRPG aspect of the campaign is specifically pointing out he doesn't care about it. And my guy goes on to make sure to point out he's at least partly investing to help them recover from the last idiotic project that they had no business doing utterly failed. It just goes to show that the 4H will never be able to do enough wrong to alienate their most stalwart fans. Every fuck-up and failure is always somehow not their fault and they just need a little help getting through it - tiny little company that they are, right?

"I'm feeling charitable. I better help a toy company recover from their last misguided, ill-prepared attempt at diversifying their revenue streams by committing money to their new misguided, ill-prepared attempt at diversifying their revenue streams. Everything's fine in the world, so no one really needs this more than them."

I don't understand how such a half-assed, no-account-having, goldbricking ass company can inspire that much devotion.
