Four Horsemen Studios Mythic Legions

Given the number of extra heads, hands and weapons that often come with figures, I have wished they would sell army building bodies in a line like ML that has consistency in pegs - no heads, no accessories, nothing new, just put the body in a bag and sell that for $20.

That is one things that appeals to me actually, I've always liked having in an army builder type character the same look but available in an assortment of colors/heads - like Trek, have the different colors represent different "roles". If it wasn't a $60+ figure, I probably would have gotten a a bunch of the Paladins with the blue and green and gold highlights (and then been on the hunt for the panther and leopard heads). To me this is a good use of "reuse".
It can be both. It can be lazy, cheap, overpriced, -and- exactly what some collectors are looking for.

Honestly, knowing they can produce these parts at these prices and that their figures are built to be dismantled and kitbashed but they make it hard enough to get spare parts that someone can break apart a single knight figure and resell every single piece of the body for $20 each is like... what is this business model? They could LEGO this shit if they wanted to, just put a parts library online or sell it through BBTS or whatever.

What you say: "They could LEGO this shit..."
What 4H will hear: "Blind bag figures?! Of course!"

Don't put that out there into the world.

I know reuse is a negative thing for many collectors, and maybe having grown up with the exact same Darth Vader for 8 years gives me a different perspective, but I really don't care - the figure either works or it doesn't.

I think lazy or inexact reuse is always the problem. Reuse on its own is fine and the reason most figure lines exist. I mean, the properties that have been on the figure pegs since the 80s are superheroes and wrestlers (you could say soldiers, but Joe's had some gap years), both of which lend themselves to frequent and sensible reuse. It's just a matter of making sure everything's proportional, accurate, and looks good, and the reused parts are blended in well.

Wait, are they? I mostly just drop in here to call them dweebs so I miss some of the info. I mean, that doesn't surprise me, but I'm upset they got there before my joke.

Yeah, around Halloween time 2025, they had some colored skeletons that were blind boxed, and also sold them in a set with a "store display" option for the boxes.
Info on it

Wow, I totally missed this. (In fairness, I spent my October being rad as hell by going to the 24-Hour HorrorThon and putting together a costume of the 90s Kenner Ripley figure for Halloween, so I had no time to witness, let alone refuse to sanction, their buffoonery.) So wait, they offered a 12-pack that included 5 colors? Why would you need 12 of them if there are only 5 colors?

Oh oh oh... me.. pick me! I can answer this one from my extensive knowledge of the 4H.
You see....... they only had five ideas, but they really wanted to sell twelve.

4H, always steaming those hams.

These translated to me in the same way a crazy relative telling me they'd discovered a way to rig the lottery would come across.
