My incomplete TS Gunship showed up yesterday. It's like 92% incomplete, and the parts missing aren't hard to replace at all. One of the chin guns, rear cannon, and one of the spring loaded missiles are all it needs. I've already found 3D printed replacements for everything but the missile, as I have no plans on replacing it.
In the original Clone Wars animation, there is quite the discrepancy to the amount of ARCs that actually deploy against Grievous. There is one shot that shows upwards of 17 in a far overhead shot. I'm not going with that many.
My plan is to have ten total. An homage to the Muunilinst 10 in a way. There will be four with ARC rifles (two different designs there), one with a modified DC-15A rifle, one with the mini-gun (more on that in a minute), the Quad-gunner, two pilots (who will be semi-customized) and Fordo.
The two ARC Rifle designs.
The modified DC15A design.
The mini-gun ARC.
I was able to find a TVC equivalent in the Jedi Fallen Order Heavy Stormtrooper.
The Quad Gunner. Luckily he was made, because that would be a pain of a custom.
The Pilots.
And of course, Fordo.
I have Fordo, and three of the recent TVC Blue ARCs, and need three more. Luckily I found someone on eBay that has them fairly cheap (unless anyone here has them). I'm hunting pilots, and not sure which version I'm going to go with yet. I may wait for the TVC Clone Pilot to release next year and customize them. The new Clone body fits pretty well in the cockpit (both seats).
After I get all my figures, I have to figure out how I plan on displaying them in the ship itself. The Mini-gunner will be like this, though.
This has been a dream project of mine for the longest time. I did the original Muunilinst 10, but that was pretty easy. Two blue, one red, and seven white clones. The TS Gunship has been my collection grail forever. When the Haslab was announced, I knew I wasn't getting it, and thought I'd treat myself for being so financially responsible. Hahah. I figured the older Gunships would drop in price if it funds, and up if it doesn't. I will be posting updates as this progresses, and am open to suggestions for anything really.
Thanks for reading.
