Diamond Select Lord of the Rings

I dreamed up a 3rd game "Shadow of Rhun" set in the mysterious east where you play as one blue wizard taking on the other. Sucked to come back to reality that day haha
See, i would have liked that from Amazon. Something that no matter what they do doesn't interfere in any way with the story in the books. Halfway through the story is when Sauron is defeated, Blue Wizard 1 knows now his little band of rebels now have a chance to free their lands of dark influence, but Blue Wizard 2 is trying to fill the void and be top bad guy around.

The east is a cheat code for adaptations. Tolkien built this incredible, dense world, and then said "oh yeah, there's a bunch more over there but little is known about it". I think it would be a particularly good fit for the nemesis system because we know it is rife with orcs and dark tribes, and you could go much further in how factions fight and territory is gained. With the two blues you have a compelling hero and villain, and you could even do a kind of light/dark mechanic where your choices determine whether the antagonist wizard is evil or not.

I liked the idea of a second age show from Amazon to be fair. That has potential. They're doing a terrible job filling the gaps though haha
