Portraits are pretty nice, but I just can't get past the soft goods. They just don't work for me with the BTAS style.

Yeah the soft goods could use some work. Also the jokers outfit should be more of a periwinkle/lavender instead of a deep purple

1/12 MEZCO BATMAN THE ANIMATED SERIES arrived

My personal thought, the be very honest, it was a very well designed figure, but I was very unlucky to get the figure with two same boots, left knee wasn’t able to bend more than 90%. Also it’s false advertising to photoshop the knee bend from their promo photos versus in hand product. The knee does not bend smoothly like their official promo pictures

Modification (not necessary)
1. switch out the left and right upper gloves(it was supposed to be switch out, but the factory or the designer labeled them wrong)

2. Re-trimmed the length of the cape

3. Swap out the head to our own custom headsculpt

4. Tighten the belt and have it sit higher

5. Will make a new trunks for it eventually

aside from some of these defect issues I got on my figure(I’m a bit unlucky when comes to buying action figure) It’s a really well design figure if you don’t care too much about accuracy. If I don’t have these issue straight out of the box, I actually like how this figure was made. Good job Mezco

He also had the two same thighs on the Gong Bats, so he is cursed.
 
"Aside from some of these defects... It's a really well done figure if you don't care about accuracy."

It's lines like that that flip my black and white autistic logic out out and are why I don't really care about most opinions offered in my hobbies or consumerism. I live in a different plane.
