We're so close to Halloween!
And so, because I'm feeling the vibes ... A little bonus.
This is a three part story that includes the Necronomicon (The Book of the Dead) and adapts the works of two literary giants and masters of horror, Messrs. H.P. Lovecraft and Robert Bloch.
From November 1972, Journey Into Mystery V2 #3. The cover was penciled by Gil Kane and inked by Tom Palmer.
From January 1973, Journey Into Mystery V2 #4. The cover was penciled by Rick Buckler and inked by Frank Giacoia.
From March 1973, Journey Into Mystery V2 #5. The cover was penciled by Gil Kane and inked by Frank Giacoia.
Another little bonus.
Two beautiful, creepy and gorgeous fully painted covers from the Gold Key vaults (God, I wish that company were still around). I like'em and we're close to Halloween so I'm putting them out there.
From August 1970, Boris Karloff Tales of Mystery #32. Fully painted cover by George Wilson.
From sometime in 1972, Grimm's Ghost Stories #23. Fully painted cover by Luis Dominguez.
Happy Halloween!
