Chicken Fried Toys/Dime Novel Legends

CFT put out a KS update today and I want to give credit where it's due; the horse looks like it's going to be really well-engineered. It's a good design and if they nail the joint tolerances so it doesn't collapse on itself, it's going to be a great toy, I think.

But... it's really hard to ignore that updates about PRE-TOOLING are happening over a year after the Kickstarter ended. That, to me, is still a pretty massive pile of bullshit that CFT should be actively embarrassed and apologetic about. There doesn't even seem to be the tiniest shred of apologia involved in telling everyone they haven't even -started tooling- yet.
 
I had the same reaction of good/bad - it looks good what they showed, but bad this is the stage still. Also, no comment at all about the allocation process. Starting to wonder if these will even arrive during 2026.
