The "head only" releases are maybe the most despicable releases, unless you can literally just slap those heads on a pre-existing body and have that character instantly.

I expect this one to be coming very early in 2026 in the Secret Wars wave. It's not a huge want of mine because I have the 3-pack one and cell shaded 2-pack version, but I get why people want it.

I cannot count on the Secret Wars subline to produce any version of a character I'd consider quintessential. They dropped the ball on Cap (inverted stripes), Wolverine (thin center stripe towards belt), Iceman (fully transparent on dated body) and I can't imagine them doing Daredevil the justice he'd deserve in a single carded figure.

I think given DD's popularity a dedicated sculpt would be warranted. Certainly they'd use it again given that it's a basic, all-spandex superhero suit, but give him the latest in articulation and an all-new sculpt kind of like Maximum Spider-Man except $15 $10 cheaper. Make it be able to hit more acrobatic poses than Vulcan can. I know paint shading is a pipe dream but I'm going to throw that in too since you asked.

If I could design a Maximum Daredevil, I'd want a raised DD emblem, standard glove cuffs swappable with tape wraps, standard boots swappable with laced up boots, standard two-piece Billy club that can holster, one Billy club with string between them, hands that can hold the clubs with a standard grip and crossed between his fingers like Elektra holds her sai, no-eyeglasses Matt Murdock unmasked head.
