C.O.P.S. 'n Crooks

I’m at least in for Bulletproof. He can hang with the likes of Optimus Prime, Crystar, and other random 80’s heroes that I don’t have full collections for. And probably would get Big Boss for the same reason.

Checkpoint would be tempting though, just for his connection to Beachhead.

LOL.. I still have two Blu Ray/DVD players, plus a PS5 and two portable DVD players for the car or vacation. But I also still have multiple CD players in my house, a portable CD boom box and a CD player in my car. I like to own physical media so no company can charge me additional fees or take albums or movies off line.

Damn, Bullit really committed to the bit.

Shoot me!!

All the talk about these, and I realized I never pre ordered Bulletproof. So, I hopped on BBTS and got him. I hope BBTS can get a few of these guys out. I'd love it if they could at least finish Series 1 of both Cops and Crooks. I think that's 12 figures. But even if it's just Bullet Proof and the main villain and a couple others that would be nice.

Yeah.. I think they are taking their time to make sure no one sues them. But everything else they showed off is gorgeous.

Yeah, I was hopeful we'd see something like a piece of art for the next character they HOPE to do. But Bulletproof doesn't even come out until next year. So, I totally get it. And I hope all the rights stuff is ok and works out. I'd really like BigBad to have a good crack at this line and property.

I had a feeling a COPS thread existed somewhere. I'm going to take this in a vintage direction.

I never had COPS figures as a kid but I found these guys this weekend for $10 a pop and I think I found my next vintage figure line project. I'm digging the "big GI Joe" style with their o-ring construction. Each of these guys came with their full cardbacks and their file cards are very GI Joe inspired with info on the character and a quotation about their personality. My gripe is that their hands don't hold there weapons extremely well.

Looking at the wave one lineup, I like how there's a figure for the different varieties of law enforcement: A beat cop, detective, highway patrolman, riot gear guy, sherif, K9 office, that's neat.

Buttons McBoomboom (I love that name) is complete as is Sundown, Rock Crusher is missing a hose and Long Arm is missing his night stick. I think I made out really well for the price.

If anyone happens to have a night stick for Long Arm or a hose for Rock Crusher, I'm interested.
