Boss Fight Studios 1/12 and EPIC HACKS

I bet that hinted Conan is another Immortal Champions one. In the Veebs interview they kept talking about Conan having a lot of looks. And the Walmart exclusive blue skeleton was just revealed. I think we’ll see another Conan for the line soon.

Well, I guess I was wrong. I think Conan looks good. But I don't know how I feel about BFS in the 1:12 scale. Their skeletons are rather floppy. Obviously, there's more bulk to non-skeletons and a better chance for sturdiness. Red Sonja didn't blow me away. With Conan and Hellboy being in the $65-75 range, BFS is sure trying to set themselves up to be a premium brand. Does their product match that pricing?

WOW! Man...I'm not gonna cancel the Battle Of Black Stone Conan, because he is incredible, but I may have to get this one as well. Maybe this one can hang out with my Marvel Legends and I can finally retire the old Toybiz one I have in that display.

Belit looks great, though I think I would have preferred to have her look from the old Marvel comics. Not gonna complain though...that's a beautiful rendition of her.

Holy smokes! I wasnt expecting this at all. The renders look great, hopefully the final product matches that price tag.

We're being flooded with Conan goodness right now, and I couldn't be happier about it. This wont last forever, so Im going to go hog wild on these figures while I can!

Maybe it was just because I was prepared to be disappointed with their Red Sonja after those rough production sample photos and those crappy skeletons, but she kinda did blow me away. There are minor nitpicks obviously, but she's second only to Savage Crucible in terms of my favourite fantasy figures, and gets extra points for being closer to compatible with Marvel Legends than any other fantasy toyline out there. Definitely planning on this Conan going in my Savage Avengers display, assuming BFS doesn't fuck it up somehow.

I don't have Sonja (those early looks made me skip ordering her), but the deluxe Lucha Libre figures of theirs that I have are on par with Mattel's elite offerings.

Sonja is a top figure to me.

Like Spidey Classics top.

There's a couple aesthetic missteps, but the paint is solid, the accessories are great, you can customize, And most importantly, you can pose the hell out of her with two-handed weapons and whatever you want to do. Like I said, she's up there with the best posable Spider-Mans and this new gamer versus Wolverine because at the end of the day I just want to pose my stuff.

I have two of her and I have no regrets. Off the strength of that figure I will continue to get Conan and Sonja adjacent characters from them.

Exactly why I prefer stuff like Boss Fight and Savage Crucible over Frazetta Girls, despite the usually superior aesthetics. The Norseman figure's hair and helmet fly across the room the second I pick him up, and Vampirella's torso and leg articulation doesn't even let her do the pose from the art it's based on. The HACKS Red Sonja is a bit fiddly with all her overlay clothes, but nothing actually falls off and it doesn't feel like you're gonna break anything through rough handling or pushing her into extreme poses.

Those look really good. There are so many Conan options right now, that I don't know what to do. But I think I will get this Conan at least, as well as the Immortal Champions stuff.
