Boss Fight Studios 1/12 and EPIC HACKS

Why is he so fucking buff? Did Andrew read the goddamn story or just hear 'elephant man' and crib from an old Four Horsemen figure?

Is he buff like that in Marvel or a game or something??
He was kind of standard superhero body in the Marvel run. He looked correct in the various not-Marvel comics. I don't think he's ever been in a game, but I don't know everything that popped up in that online survival game so maybe I'm wrong.

This seems obviously designed to have a base body they can re-use for other large muscle guys.

I don't know a ton about Conan's family of characters, but looks cool and I'm interested in learning more.

Although realizing now that I hope even more for a Legends Kulan Gath. Probably cracking my Top 10 now.

Im so down for this Yag Kosha set! The buffness isnt bothering me at all on Yag, and what's really standing out is that BWS style helmet on that Conan figure. Im assuming this will be a early-Marvel BWS inspired version?

Also, I bought the NECA Kong for the exact same reason as you guys, but haven't put any energy into finding a proper red cloak for him. Someday!

Well I hope you're all happy, you've got me thinking about what a Conan shelf could look like and I've now purchased Red Sonja.

Think it'll end up a mish mash Sword and Sworcery shelf with Crystar, Warbow, some DnD monsters, and FMF's barbarian Santa.

I threw Mezco King Conan's red cape onto the McFarlane Grodd figure with the gold armour when I wanted to do a Thak display. Pretty inaccurate since he obviously doesn't wear armour but it was good enough for me and it's still the only gorilla figure I have.

Yag Kosha seems like a strange choice for an action figure, does he even get off the chair in the story? Doesn't Conan just put him out of his misery? Not exactly an epic battle to play out with super-articulated premium figures.

He kills the character of...Yara? Does that sound right? The sorcerer who imprisoned him. But as far as swashbuckling adventures with Conan? No.

YouTube is surprisingly letting me down for videos detailing Conan's time at Marvel. Surprisingly no one seems to have done a story recap video going over events, characters, crossovers with main Marvel.

The local library does have a random Vol 3 collection of Marvel comics, but not 1 or 2. Issues 27-42.

I'd gotten on there to see if they had any collected editions of Howard's short stories, but there seems to be very few at the local branches and they're all taken up right now.

So any suggestions for starting points on Conan stuff is welcome.
