Also I’m gonna be “that guy”… I like Bat-Manuel more then I like Der Fledermaus, not saying don’t make Der Fledermaus for you purist, just saying can I get a “toon” Bat-Manuel down the line too?

Did we talk a while back about whether this line is comic or cartoon or if that even matters?

I was unconfidently thinking I remembered hearing this line was comic based & so a lot of familiar characters from the cartoon would be off limits. But I tried to track that info down & couldn't find anything, so I didn't say anything.

I haven't seen any press on this line apart from pictures to know for certain, but I do know that Disney owns all of the characters created for the animated series which is why they didn't appear in the Amazon series. My assumption is that Edlund and BBWS have no interest in engaging Disney over it unless these figures do exceptionally well.
 
Bummer. My Tick interest is entirely based on the cartoons (nothing against the comics, just haven't read them). But I've got Tick on order and will definitely get Arthur and Chairface when they go up. Just too bad that there are certain characters I probably can't expect.
 
I read the comic back in the day, but my memories of that and the cartoon have kind of blurred together.

I'd be down for a Red Scare figure. And maybe a Hand Grenade Man, but only because he was described as "armed with a hand grenade and a look that said he was going to use it" and that cracked me up.

I don't know if the Human Bullet was from the comics, but it'd be a shame if not because he and Fire Me Boy were one of my favorite bits on the cartoon.
