I know we had a limited discussion about this Kickstarter and figure line at Fwoosh - but for those interested they are mostly in stock now at BBTS and I received my "All In" set yesterday. While it is going to take a while to get to them all (I think the All In comes to 33 figures!), so far the figures I have opened are really top quality all around - good sturdy figures, clean paint apps, the cloth goods are very good with wires on most, fun accessories (if you ever wanted a burning bush...) and weapons, etc. The basic body has good articulation, which is most helpful on the demons, less important on the rest, and figures come with alternate hands, feet and heads.

Even if not interested in the overtly religious iconography figures (most of which are based on existing artwork and icons, which was a great concept I think), the various demons, Pharaoh (Young Moses), Roman Soldiers, High Priest, etc. might fit in with other collections/displays of fantasy/sword and sorcery/ancient times. The temple accessory set could be used that way as well, as might the monk and John the Baptist figures, or the armored angels.

I am hoping Chris decides to do another campaign with a female and larger scale body bucks added and hits more of the Old Testament stories - lots of obvious stuff that could be done still - Adam and Eve, Noah, Samson and Delilah, David and Goliath; and also a continuation of figures from classic art, which would give him multiple Mary options, the full Last Supper with the 12 apostles, maybe a fully articulate nativity set.

It does make me want to find some 1:12 scale animals - donkeys, sheep, cows...

I only picked up the temple and high priest set. The temple set is quite nice with lots packed in. Kinda wish they had just packed the high priest in with that set as I ended up with two arcs because of them being separate. Not a bad thing though. My ML Templars could use an arc to go hide on Oak Island. I figured the set would come in handy for a Sunday school lesson at some point haha.

I think the tariffs hit this line pretty hard, unfortunately so I’m not sure if there are any immediate plans for more figures save for the countless angel and demon repaints they seem to like. But certainly plenty of big names they could still do. Adam and Even seems a little problematic with either being fully nude or fig leafed. They’d probably go the leaf route I’m guessing as this is meant to be a classy line.

I think it wasn't until the Kickstarter campaign was far along that he decided to sell the temple set as its own thing, as each piece was initially the add-on if you bought each "book" in the campaign. So by then he had solicited the Ark being with the High Priest. I am sure selling the extra Ark to the Indy fans won't be too hard to do.

Chris had said he has a second KS worked out with the two bucks I mentioned (female and large) but wanted to see this one through to completion before offering it. Which I think makes sense, he can see if the BBTS stock sells or if there is demand to do a second run of any figures.

Yeah, I guess A&E might be an issue, hadn't thought that through.

It’s been nice to see more variety brought to the figure world with religious figures. These and Ganesha from 4H seem well received. Ironically, Chris involved in both. I do wish these were more Legions compatible but we didn’t need Barbarian Jesus so new slimmer body would have been needed anyway.

While I’d didn’t pick up anything (yet) beyond the temple stuff, I do love some of the relics and cool accessories like the shroud or burning bush being included in these.
