I opened Solus Prime, Slingshot, Air Raid, Red Alert, and Wasp(inator) so far. All solid efforts. Megatronus is awaiting opening. I found these at Target during resets and then cancelled my Amazon Pre-Orders. Today Amazon canceled Silverbolt on me for not enough stock. I wonder if the algo was targeting me.

I picked up Solus, Prima, and Megatronus at Target this week, and the deluxe class Aerialbots earlier this week. I might not even open the Aerialbots til I have the whole team. The Primes will wait for another rainy day. No real rush on them.

What universe is this Red Alert from?

I picked up Red Alert and G2 Grimlock with the $15 off $75 deal at Target, that took a little sting off buying that Grimlock mold a fourth time. This is the G2 color scheme I'm familiar with, not the Walmart exclusive neon camo thing that never got made originally.

I'm obviously not connected to the Unicron Trilogy, but I don't mind the opportunity to appreciate eras of TF I wasn't familiar with to understand their merits. Red Alert is a nice figure, I like his transformation. I don't like that there isn't really a place to put his claw once he's in truck mode.

Aaand of course, Target now has a week long sale on Transformers, 30% off. Wonder if I can price adjust the Primes I got last week.

At first I was kind of stoked for AOTP and getting all the Primes. However after seeing Prima Prime in hand I am kind of off the bandwagon. I'll probably get Megatronus, but the rest look like sale/clearance pick ups, or passes.

I did manage to snag a G2 Blue Grimlock on sale at TRU (Canada) and he looks glorious. It also makes me excited for the two pack of Swoop/Sludge that was revealed from the leak list.

I'm considering Age of Primes a continuation of the style of Legacy and War for Cybertron, just the mainline CHUG scale line. So I'll put this question here: Are there any other figures from the War for Cybertron era on, that are intentionally meant to evoke the original toy designs and/or colors? I'm loving the new Gears and Bumblebee on the retro cards with the vintage colors. Did they make an Optimus using those colors? I know there's a Galvatron in toy colors, Cyclonus got it too. Wrecker Springer is based on toy colors, though he has a Wrecker symbol instead of the standard Autobot symbol. There was a Walmart exclusive toy colored Hot Rod that was supposed to come out but never did. Can you think of any others?

Wave 3 (final for 2025) up for Preorders:

Amazon just delivered Star Optimus Prime. I haven't opened him yet - waiting the obligatory 24 hours for temperature adjustment, but they just slapped stickers on the retail package. I'm an opener, but that's... something.

Received Silverbolt from Amazon this weekend so I can finally open the first two Aerialbots (haven’t even bothered to pay attention to their names). This team has always been my least interesting, mostly due to how repetitive the designs are. I only had Silverbolt as a kid and his original toy was a little goofy in proportions, but I liked him a lot.

I haven't been doing much Transformers lately, but I'm intrigued by Superion. I had Silverbolt in my Amazon cart at least a few times on Thursday and Friday, but haven't pulled the trigger yet. Since completing a Superion isn't an insignificant cost, I watched nearly every YouTube video, which is something rarely rely on.

Iirc, my CW Superion had multiples of the same limbs for a time.

My Silverbolt order on Amazon was cancelled a few months back, so switched over to BBTS for him. Saw that he went back up on Amazon, but I'll be patient.

I forgot to cancel my Pulse PO for Silverbolt and they shipped him. Gotta return that one to Amazon.

Picked up Alchemist Prime at Walmart this week. Is Vortex in that same assortment? Spotted Crasher and some other figure as well.
