Got the Alex Ross style Batman today super early off eBay. I’ve bought a ton of beast kingdom, and they are very hit and miss, but this is definitely one of their better figures. Great head sculpt, tight joints, very happy with it so far.

I know this is going to sound odd coming from the guy that had to buy 3 just to get a good one, but it really is a bad-ass figure.

Well, I guess 3rd time’s the charm. Got another one and this one has no QC issues. Not sure if it makes any difference but this is the only one I got directly from PopMart, the other 2 were from eBay.

Well, I’m either super unlucky or these have lousy QC. I had bought a second one to keep in the box, but decided to open it since the first one had issues. Exact same problem with this one. What a bummer, because it’s otherwise a great figure….

Got mine yesterday. No butterfly joint, as far as I can tell. As far as QC, mine had issues also. They used the same hip/thigh joint on both sides, so the right leg doesn’t have full ROM. Otherwise, it really is a great figure, cape is amazing.

Update on the Hush Batman, looks awesome, can’t wait for this one!

I’m assuming Hush 2 is based on the Loeb/Lee sequel, but would be nice if he took another pass @ the original design with a wired cape and a better buck. One can dream…

I read bleeding cool religiously, and I generally like their editorial point of view. They also have really good sources within the industry, but in my experience, they are not very plugged in on the toy scene.

Not good with it, but I think this time they at least made that clear from the get-go (unlike NML Batman).
