Marvel Legends Two-Packs

Would not be at all surprised if there is another Astonishing Wolvie with better matching yellows in the works to get the mileage out of that sculpt. Who does the yellow on Beast match best with?

If they DO release Astonishing Wolverine again I'm only buying him if he comes with a fastball special head with his ears pinned back.

Beast matches Kitty best.

Wolverine is darker.

I don't think it is a 1:1 match for Beast and Kitty. On the other hand, Wolverine is mostly plastic and Beast is a lot of yellow paint on black.

I tossed Logan and Hank under different lights in my study. And yeah. It looks like the color was on the wall the whole time.

I didn't expect the colors to match. I mean, they should, but this is Legends. The colors never match. As Lucid and Resilient pointed out, it's inexcusable when we're dealing with literal color codes.

The specific shade of yellow is puzzling, too. The Astonishing costumes were typically a darker yellow. Hasbro had the same problem with the X-Men '97 Sunspot.

Colossus is not interesting enough in execution for me to want another unfortunately, his Astonishing costume always seemed barely different enough to be important, although the way some folks get bothered by whether his belt buckle is rectangular or circular is also not something I ever found important. Fine if you don’t already have him I guess, but I would have liked to see double elbows, pelvis articulation and some gripping hands that could be used with Guido’s and She-Hulk’s barbell and dumbbells. I’d like to see how well his shoulders articulate as they seem to be ball and socket like the newer figs but I’m not certain.

Kitty is nice but… basic? I’m specifically talking about her articulation/engineering. She seems to just have the basic outdated body and I’m asking why then could we not have seen for the first time a few breakaway or alternate arms and legs so that she can appear to be phasing through a wall or floor. Some innovation other than just…. good hair

Maybe one could initiate some sort of crowdfund so that Hasbro could be able to afford color matching for their paints and plastics? Ultimately, it doesn't really seem like much of anything to complain about though.

NGL, "the yellows don't match" is something I would never have noticed if not for reading the comments here. It'd be nice if they did, but it's not something that's going to bother me or even catch my eye in a display.

Sunspot was the only time for me that it was glaring and off-putting.

Every other time I'm aware it doesn't match but it's whatever. The more I look at it and who I actually own, I think Wolverine is the outlier, but I also like him in a richer color. Kind of sucks that they don't match the cool Laura Martin coloring though.

I think its fine. Its not Astonishing (see what I did there?), but its fine. It'll service to add to the team. Still need Armor. Most of the previous figures have off tint yellows from each other. I don't have a set that will 100% match. So the color doesn't bother me. I just hope they fixed her size. Doesn't look like it to me.
