I think you could add Henry Gyrich to the list too. He was just an alternate head but thanks to years of generic suited bodies I now have Gyrich on my X-villains shelf.

This one issue right here. Champion's first appearance and a classic story about what makes Ben Grimm who he is. It's not Watchmen or the Dark Phoenix saga by any means but it's a fun story with a lot of heart.
