It's not like getting a powered down Armor would be all that much of an exception. There are a ton of Legends figures where their power sets aren't really evident in the figure. I mean look at the Absorbing Man that was just revealed as an example. You could argue that there are just as many figures where no power set is evident as where it is. For someone who didn't know Marvel they could look at our collections and never have any idea what powers the characters have. Is that boring? This is true. I wouldn't turn her down without her armour. I think she's a lot less likely to get the BAF treatment like that, though. I, like many others, would probably try my hand at custom armour, if they did that.
 
Yes! The pieces on that Green Lantern were completely removable but IIRC the armor wasn't one piece, it was broken down into arm/torso front/back torso/arm or something like that. That DC line was really well done for its time; I think it would've done really well if they were a bit bigger.
 
I agree. As a big Alpha Flight fan, I would be super happy with Marrina, Box and Talisman and I would consider the classic team complete.

To be honest, Jim Lee's design of Box is cooler than Byrne's but I get what you mean.
 
The way I imagine a potential Armor figure is a standard figure clipped by the waist inside a translucent, hollow shell. Maybe swivel articulation at the neck and shoulders, maybe even the hips, though any leg articulation would result in the necessity of ankle articulation to stabilize the figure. The neck shoulder swivels would also remain hollow to accommodate her head and arms to float inside (again, her attachment is mostly at the waist with a clip to the back of the armor). It doesn’t need to be huge armor, it could be smaller than the Cobra SNAKE armor.
 
That Guardian/Vindicator/Whatever figure from a few years ago was bunk. That facial expression on Constrictor makes me realize how good he could have been. Heck I'd take that sneer on a Wolverine figure.
