I mean...agree to disagree, I guess. Jim Shooter was EIC of Marvel Comics for the 9 years it cemented itself firmly as the dominant comic book company. Some of my most favorite comic book runs ever ocurred under his stewardship.

After he left Marvel he went on to found Valiant - and those books were awesome. It was a great fun shared universe.

Heroes Reborn was a wet fart of an effort that was blessedly brief and died an ignominious death.

I like some of Jim Shooter's writing and hate a lot of it as well. LoSH, Valiant, and New Universe are cool at times. Regardless, when we're talking comics that "should be sealed in a safe", I just never consider comics that are just bad in the running. That's a right reserved for things that are actually appalling in every regard.

Within those criteria, Jim Shooter has something that I do believe earns that honor:

I don't know if anyone else saw, but there was a video from Dan Who about two or so months ago called "MARVEL LEGENDS RUMORS & LIES 2026", where he talked about a possible leaked "Marvel Legends Gamerverse" list that would be more of the Capcom Marvel figures. The possible leaked listings were two packs of Colossus/Iceman, Cyclops/Hulk, Doctor Doom/Spider-Man, Gambit/Rogue and Magneto/Storm, as well as Deluxe figures of Blackheart and a Sentinel. Since Hasbro has been releasing a lot of Sentinels lately, I could see that happening. If the leaked listings are true, Cyclops/Hulk and Doctor Doom/Spider-Man would be my immediate must buys.

Has anyone else seen this leaked listing? Does anyone know if anyone else talked about this leaked list or if it was debunked as false?
 
Man what a boring list of releases.. At least I'd probably get to skip all of it On the other rumor list I saw it had Luna Snow in a 2-pack which I would definitely have to buy.
 
I don't know. I love the Capcom Marvel games and I would welcome a new Doctor Doom, a new Hulk with better face sculpts and hair, and a Capcom Spidey with the light red on his suit. Since Cyclops's Blue Team suit is my favorite look, I could always use another new Jim Lee Cyclops. I'd also be up for getting Colossus/Iceman, as I like Colossus's '90s Gold Team suit. The main drawback for me would be the prices and how many accessories they would actually come with.
 
An all new properly classic sculpt for Doom (which there's no way this isn't), Magneto, Blackheart, and Sentinel are all just things that need to happen. We still need an actually good Magneto. I'd happily welcome an actually good mold for Gambit, as well.

We know they wouldn't do game-accurate headsculpts, so the rest would just be welcome rereleases of staple characters. I doubt these are real, but it'd be cool if they are.

I would love if these rumors are true since the Psylocke, Wolverine and Juggernaut Gamerverse version of these characters are my favorites so far.

I would definitely buy Gambit and Rogue, Colossus and Iceman, Storm and Magneto and Cyclops and Hulk. Selling Hulk later since I don’t collect Avengers.

That would be amazing to see these other characters done in that more extreme style.
