One A Day 2.0: Day #295 - Daily Bugle Staff: Robbie Robertson, Betty Brant, Ned Leeds, Glory Grant, Ben Urich

I know there are people for whom these are big wants... I am not one of them. I have JJJ, I have Mary Jane and Gwen Stacy... heck, I have Norman Osborn (unmasked GG head on suited body)... I lke Robbie Robertson as a character but I don't need the figure. Betty Brant... come on. Ned Leeds... Ben Urich... yawn. Who tf is Glory Grant?

I also think a bunch of these folks in civilian clothes would sell worse than the Eternals

Maybe make them a con exclusive pack in Daily Bugle packaging... that would eliminate the retail clearance exposure and drive up demand for people that would otherwise pass.
 
Spidey's civilian cast are really iconic to who he is. Other than the FF (Wyatt Wingfoot, Willy Lumpkin, Alicia Masters) and Avengers (Jarvis), I don't think I would want any other Marvel civilians.

As far as the Daily Bugle goes, classic Robbie and Betty would be the most important to me. The others are less so.

I do really want a classic Aunt May, Flash, Harry, and "You hit the jackpot" MJ to round out Peter's civilian Legends.
 
Ben Urich is someone I associate more with Daredevil. He also has a pivotal civilian cast in Urich, Foggy Nelson, Karen Page, Milla Donovan, Dakota North.

Gloria Grant is a former neighbor of Parker, who was an aspiring model, friend of Peter who went on to take over Betty Brant’s job at the Bugle. She periodically got tangled up in some of Spidey’s adventures, with he likes of Morbius, Lobo Btothers, and so on.
