Mety Toys/LingJiHun TMNT Figures

Chinese vendors have these for the best deals. CoolToysClub received stock of Leo and Raph and they had them for just over $90 shipped each. But you have to be quick they will sale out once they go live. US vendors charging $120+ each are bending you over.

Well it's Aliexpress so from my understanding these are Chinese vendors. Vendors with stores on their website. However they were cheaper than vendors on ebay that I did searches for.

Would not recommend the MojingToys "American Sewer" diorama display for these figures, they're too large and I'm less than impressed by the diorama as it comes in 3 pieces (it always showed it would) but none of the seams match up. So a single pipe that was split into 3 pieces running along the ceiling, does not match up with itself to look like a continual pipe, and the upper street level, one edge is higher than the other, while the lower level the waterline is also uneven and does not continue as a flat plane. Most disappointing for $200 bucks. Some triptych pieces are literally too shallow to match up (ie: say you put it in a bookcase where the back of all 3 pieces rests against the back wall. The back wall side of the display lines up, but the street level on one of pieces doesn't stick out as far as the others). Plus there's paint brush strands embedded in the paint in on place. Definitely not worth $227 or whatever BBTS is charging now.

Wowwwww, I was wondering about that. Damn. You just saved me some money.

Might still snag Ramen's if it comes out then.

Got a pic with the Lingjuhn just so we can see? Thanks!

I'm still part of the flip phone community and don't do any sort of photography so don't have a DSLR or anything. The sizing is good for the Fury/Rage Toys style turtles, but the Lingjihun one's heads are literally right up against the ceiling of the sewer, so they just look out of place. The sewer overall looks nice, but the casts for these resin pieces obviously wasn't spot on, everything it comes with is in Chinese documentation-wise. I've tried putting stacked thin strips of paper under the base on certain parts to make the segmented breaks mesh better on appearance, but it just makes the other side of the triptych piece stand up. The Fury Toys non-TMNT look at home init , it but I've resorted to just having them stand with their oversized feet over the seams. I want to like this thing more than I do. I'm waiting to see some Youtube reviews in order to decide if this is all of them or just mine and I should return it.

The NECA movie turtles look decent in it though, so I'm torn on what to do. The Lingjihun's look cramped, the Fury/Rage's look like it was made for them, and the NECAs look somewhere in between'.

I also just noticed now BBTS is running a re-colored version of the same set but with more "sewery" looking water and different colored pipes and these come with errant cables on the wall. I wonder if these will be better tested that everything meshes seam-wise.

Ordered Don & Mikey from a store on AliExpress, and the store sent me a short video confirming it was a sealed bag/box of each figure.

I think I managed to land a lower price. I checked the prices for the 2 of them where they were sold out, and what I paid wasn't much more than that per figure.
I've seen the price go up on things once they start to get low on stock.

I checked with my order with 33Toys and I paid $120 for both Mikey and Donnie, so if he asks for $20 more I'll still only be paying $70 per figure, $80 if I misinterpreted what someone else said and it's $20 per figure.

$120 per figure would probably be the absolute limit on my interest in these figures. I'd give them some leeway as I really like the ones I have and anticipate going all in on the forthcoming enemies, but getting into the $135 and $150 territory is a bit crazy. They're not approaching Hot Toys quality. Those prices would limit my interest even for Mafex stuff.
