So I had a guy who paid me in full. But he just won't come get it. It's always something with his kid or his wife or he says a day and time and then just doesn't show up and then follow us up later and talks about how life get hectic.

Sure.

But wtf. This is month Three.
 
Just had a fuckass ask about an item.and then say he'd be by next week.

I said that should work but just so he's aware I don't do holds without a deposit, and I've had a lot of people asking about this one since I put it up yesterday.

He responded, and tell me if I'm out of pocket here, "Noted. Look, just let me know if it's sold before then."

No. I don't think that's my job.

It was the Noted that really put it over for me, though..
 
I had a weird one last night. I sold one of my higher priced items (for me anyway) and was excited, but the guy immediately messaged me with this:

Hello There,I am contacting you because, I want to let you know that I purchased this figure from you. The order number is 145-26228. Please let me know if you receive my order. I am also contacting you because, I want to let you know that if you can please shipped my order tomorrow Friday January 23rd so that I can receive my order next Monday January 26th or next Tuesday January 27th. Thank you I look forward to hear from you soon.

All my listings make it clear I have a day job and can only guarantee shipping Tuesday-Thursday. A lot of times I try to do other days too, but can't promise that. But I figured, despite the really bizarre writing style of that message, okay, I can't Friday, but Saturday I can get it out. And he lives in Pasadena so it'll probably take a couple days. I let him know all that, but that I can cancel if that's not good enough. He responded:

Hello There,Thank you for getting back to me. I purchased this item from you today Thursday January 22nd because, I thought you can shipped the item tomorrow Friday January 23rd. If you cannot shipped the item tomorrow Friday January 23rd I would need to cancel my order. If you can shipped my order tomorrow Friday January 23rd I don’t need to cancel my order. Please let me know what you can do. Thank you I look forward to hear from you soon.

So I cancelled, refunded, and messaged him that it was done and pointed out my listings make it clear I only definitely ship Tuesday-Thursday so he really should have known already. Then I blocked him.

Now this morning I see he messaged me two more times from two other accounts an hour apart with the exact same message:

Hello there,I am contacting you because, I would like to know if by any chance I purchased this item from you Today Friday January 23rd and you shipped the item Tomorrow Saturday January 24th do you think I can receive the item next Monday January 26th. I am asking you because, I am located in Pasadena California. Thank you I look forward to hear from you soon.

And I Damiened him with "No" to both.
 
I Would have told him "yeah sure I'll ship it then" and totally not ship it then.

Hell. Create the shipping label and then ship it when I had time. I know he'd probably get ebay to refund him, but I'm a glutton for punishment in that way.
 
Oh, I think my response would have been:
"Hello there,I am contacting you because, I would like to know if something is fucking wrong with your brain Today Friday January 23rd if you think I can make you receive the item next any fucking day because when the goddamn package shows up actually isn't something I can guarantee no matter when I ship it even if it's Tomorrow Saturday January 24th, which it will not be because I ship from Tuesday which is not today to Thursday which is not Saturday January 24th. I am telling you this because, I am not located in Pasadena California. Thank you and I look forward to not ever interacting with you again.'
