Xesray Combatants Fight For Glory figures.

Jackieeeeeee, 1 more thing. Then i can ship my PoL. I'm really surprised if they did oversell. They're usually really good about not doing that.

I wonder if this is one of those figures that are worth a small house in a couple of years (yknow, providing civil world war 2.5 doesn't kill us all by then). If I cared about the money I'd end up keeping her in box. But I like to release them from their plastic prisons and let them roam free, yknow, in bags and bins.

It will be. She's already creeping up in some places.

And you don't need to keep them boxed, just keep the box.

Just got Hildr. Really a gorgeous figure. I'd read that she could be a bit stuck in the joints but I only had to put a bit of heat on one elbow, otherwise perfect. Has anyone swapped hte armor around? I don't love the way her waist armor floats and was thinking I'd like to swap it for the fur skirt piece she comes with, but I don't see an easy way to slide that metal and leather plastic skirt off short of... popping her entire torso joint out?

Should be pop the torso and slide it up.

Haven't done it to her but it's how the others worked.
I've seen some folks completely disassemble her legs but that seems like overkill. I'm just gun shy cos months later I still can't get RomanKey Jessica's head back on her body so I'm paranoid about these expensive / beautiful / don't wanna break 'em figures.

Yeah. I'd be paranoid with Xesray for sure.

Is it still the socket with Jessica?
Hildr DOES pop out at the thorax - honestly if Mythic Legions swapped this cleanly I'd be annoyed at them less. If you swap her parts out just watch out for her shoulder sockets, the inner peg is small and it's easy to pop one of the arms out if you grip the figure the wrong way. I like the sculpt work on her plastic skirt but the fur one doesn't have the same float-y thing so I like that better.

Yeah, I'm going to have to get a new heat gun or something for Jessia. The problem is the peg isn't in the head or the neck, it's free floating, so trying to get a grip on that barbell to push it into the socket is a PITA. I think my next step is heat gun and then I need some kind of tool to help PUSH the peg into the heated gap, and if I can get it into the head first, I can use the head for leverage into the neck itself. Easily the most frustrating parts swap I've ever had, which sucks cos she's an amazing figure but I feel like I got 50% of what I paid for as the second body is headless. At this point if I could find a head that would pop onto the body from another figure I'd just give up on using the one it came with.

I shipped my PoL so Hildr should be here sometime soon. Looking forward to it.

So I got Hildr today in my BBTS box. Wow. Just wow. Like, wow. I am just stunned. This figure is very cool. The floaty pieces kinda suck being as loose, but they still look amazing. The paint, the detailing, the joints, everything. This is a good ass figure. I even like the fur soft goods. They're not wired but they sit well enough to look good. But I think it covers too much because of how gorgeous this figure is, I wanna display her without them. I am a little confused however. Is she really tan? Or is she of a darker skin complexion? Cause shes a Viking, and I thought most Vikings were more fair skin toned, especially since alot of them are natural blondes. I don't mind, I just thought she should be more pale. Anyway, I'm definitely buying more of these. Also, the joints didn't break. They seem to be made of a better plastic then the previous ones? So I'm thinking I won't need replacement joints, at least for her, but still got a few more coming so we'll see how that pans out. But they haven't been released yet.

Whelp. She broke. Her fuckin wrist broke while I was trying to swap hands. Not happy.

*edit* Just bought 2 packs of those joints off Ebay. Be here sometime next month cause its from China. Yknow, if we dont go to war with them and everyone else. So now she sits somewhere out of view. The joints I got i will have to paint as well since they are much lighter then her skin tone. Le sigh. Why can't I just have nice things?

*edit 2* And the other wrist just broke. Le sigh deuce. Glad I bought 2 sets. They come with 6 wrists each so that's enough for a slew of figures.

And it was very upsetting lol. I payed all this thinking the ankles may be the problem, when it was the fuckin wrists.

What part of her wrist broke? Do you think if you heated them up you could have avoided it? That's the second part I've heard of breaking. The Figma type joints in the shoulders seem to break due to their thin nature as well.

Such a coveted figure to be so un "user-friendly."

I too was perplexed at her skin tone.

Definitely heat for any swaps and pops on this line. Every time.

I like them to look at, but they feel fragile in my hands and the posing just isn't there. Even as a fan I don't know why they're so coveted.
