Yup. I loved that figure in 25A and I will absolutely buy it again.

I will also buy an 'ARAH Storm Shadow body' figure done up as a Ninja Viper, because I have fond memories of mailing away for a Ninja Viper as a kid.
 
(This ninja talk reminds me I've gotta do cards for my generic ninjas I guess... fox mask and oni mask feel too unique to just be nameless ninjas)
 
Yeah, I dig those. Dragon mask too. I gotta find something to do with that. And doesn't Slice come with like a scorpion mask or something? I looked at it for all of half a second and then tossed it in a bin.

He does, and it's awesome! I like it more than any of Dice's heads so that's where it went.
 
I want a good Roablock. The best ones are expensive and the first release doesn't look like I want him to.

I'd also buy almost any ninja they put out, SS included.

Roadblock ABSOLUTELY needs a re-release.

Yeah, Slice has the Scorpion head and Dice has the Dragon - I actually like Dice's scarred face, I find it really... like it inspires story and character, but I do want to do SOMETHING with his dragon mask cos I jus dig it, but don't have a body to put it on.
 
Ninja-Ku, Ninja-Viper AND Satan/Red Ninja would be awesome releases for Classified. They’ve got enough ninja “stuff” and alt-heads to make each one specific AND generic. Like for Ninja-Viper they can include both a “traditional” masked head and SSv2’s hooded head OR just include a removable hood, then pick one of the more esoteric heads like the original Classified Red Ninja head in teal. For Satan/Red Ninja, do a traditional head, and then definitely the oni-devil mask head in all-red, maybe even a third head since the RNs are so prevalent. For Ninja-Ku, get weird and include the Dice dragon head in black. Mix and match weapons, salt these guys into waves/sets where a no-sculpt figure is needed. They’d be awesome. Oh and make sure each “traditional” head is unique: rather than just go Storm Shadow for all of them, have one use Kamakura’s masked head, and one use a Cobra Officer or Trooper head.

Well, I don't even own him. When the line first started, it wasn't exactly easy to get in Canada, and Arctic SS came and went pretty quickly. Then, when I saw how shitty he was, I never bothered to track him down (and probably wouldn't have been willing to pay the mark-up). So... he stays out because I don't own him.

But also.... he'd stay out because he makes me angry to look at.
 
Well, I just said they were all bangers but I was talking to my childhood best friend earlier.

He is a nerd and collects Lego, but doesn't really do figures on our scale. But I thought it was a fun perspective.

He proposes all killer, no filler.

Even the original 13 don't count to him because that's not what we grew up with. It's the cartoon and whatever we scraped at the PX when we were in Oslo, or our dads brought back from US trips every now and then.

That's it. He acknowledges nostalgia for all the variance and other mercenaries and personalities that showed up, but on a strictly killer, no filler filter, this is it.

I generally agree with it. There's no way in hell I'm getting rid of my Courtney Krieger. And I love breaker and Rock and Roll.

I think I would keep the original 13 lineup but I don't have Clutch and I don't know how I would ever get him at this point, at which point why even build it?

Now I know our community here loves the deep cuts and the completionism. But I am curious if you really did have to cut to a core, how would you do it?

I took it further and wanted to see what a 6 versus 6 minimal shelf would look like to me.

There are a lot of personality hires I could swap out for Shipwreck, don't know that I can do the same with Cobra.
 
Also going through my collection, it's interesting to see how soon Classified went pinless, but Marvel hung on.

And it really makes me wish I picked up the Retro Destro because I have the OG and he is the only pinned character. I was surprised to see Zartan was.
