bonus points if she has the buzzcut!

but also, they did use that costume in a few other stories.

Catwoman Defiant
Catwoman Year 2: 38-41
Catwoman: Her sisters Keeper (sort of takes place during year 1)
Didn't she also wear it in The Long Halloween?

Just a few favorite kitty cat covers.

She has a whip, wears a skin tight costume and purrs.

Of course it was love at first sight. The Bat never stood a chance.

It was 85 years ago today that the first superhero team ever created made their premiere.

No one knows whose idea it was. It may have been editor Sheldon Mayer. It might have been writer Gardner Fox. All anyone can say for sure is that someone at National Periodical Publications (Later called DC Comics) got the idea to put some of their most popular superheroes together in the same book. And so All Star Comics #3 was released on November 22nd, 1940 and the Justice Society of America made their debut. 85 years later they're still fighting the good fight. And they will always have a special place in my heart.

To the first superhero team and still the greatest ... Thank you for 85 great years.

@SDcomics Dan Dicarlo could really bring it.

Yes he could!

I like to think of Boots as by Nancy AND Lee Hazlewood. She was a good singer and sexy but he was brilliant

Nancy's version was the one that got a lot of airplay on mid-western radio stations so that's the one that sticks with me the most, but I agree with you about Hazlewood.

It seemed like everywhere you looked all you saw were young women wearing mini skirts and go go boots. The 60's were a trip.

Anyone know if Dauterman's revised Avengers 800 cover has been revealed? I've Googled but it doesn't seem like it.

Eagerly awaiting that myself. Also, I I'm waiting for the current JSA book to get good. It's lacking something that I can't quite put my finger on.
