Animal Warriors of the Kingdom / Spero Toys

Awesome, thanks for that! Maybe there is movement on Wave 5 then...
Do you know off-hand what's included in Wave 5? I only got into the line earlier this year, bought ridiculous eBay lot someone was offloading really cheaply, but only saw the Wave 2 big guys coming up via the crowdfunding - just curious who beyond the ranger is expected and can't find photos anywhere.

I don't totally remember, it wasn't a lot - this storefront (never used them) https://toystlkr.com/product-category/characters/animal-warriors-of-the-kingdom/ shows the Ranger and Necro Armor Pale - and they have a date of Nov 29 now. Along with some others coming back into stock that date. BBTS never listed the Ranger figure or the Necro Armor Pale which is why I ordered direct from Spero. I am not sure if The Void figure also listed on that page is part of Wave 5 or not.

So just got a shipping notice for the Ranger - so between these being at LegionsCon and the figure shipping, I hope this means things are back on track with Spero - I really like this line and want to get more of it.

I haven't gotten a Spero figure yet, but does anyone know hard are they to mix and match limbs?

I ask specifically because the concept for The Void is so fun to me, but his stumpy legs are hard to look past. I'm wondering if I might be able to graft some longer legs on that guy to make him work better.

I haven't tried it yet, but I think they're not more or less modular than most lines. Standard ball and socket hips (no drop hips), pinned elbows and knees (double) , ball waist, ab crunch, pretty normal (butterfly shoulder) arms. I found the heads to be VERY tight to pop on and off (despite them selling some nice three packs of alternate heads - I've got a Horrid Ravager in my BBTS cart right now to pop one more alt head onto if I ever want to spend the money), but also they released those gear packs that are NOT something you can swap on and off without removing parts. The shin-guards require you to pop the feet off and the kilt/belt thing I haven't put on anyone because I don't want to fight with the ball joint in the waist, but I gotta imagine you don't put out that kind of gear pack if you don't intend for buyers to do pop and swaps.

Hmm... HMMMM. I'll have to think on it.

I've done quite a bit of this - you can pretty much pull them totally apart and put them back together. Not easily always, but as usual if you heat them up a bit it helps. The most annoying part is the shoulder and neck, as for some figures you will need to swap that (and not just pull the arm out of the shoulder or swap a head) to match the fur color and I needed to use pliers to pop things off.

The best ones for kit bashing are the figures with the chest armor. Note that a few figures have shoulder armor or straps molded on which is annoying.

Legs were pretty easy to swap as was popping apart at the waist - but I have only done this with the standard size figures, not the larger size - so can't confirm for the Void figure.

EDITED to add - by easy I mean no worse than popping apart a Legends figure, but harder than it probably ought to be for changing the armors and gears and so on...

Unfortunately I didn't look closely enough at the tracking information until last night to notice that the Ranger was shipped to my old address - despite having requested and gotten assurance the address was changed back in January when I contacted Spero about it. And I was unable to get the USPS or DHL systems to reroute it last night. Also wrote to Spero last night, will see what happens, if anything.
