MAFEX Marvel Figures

Wolverine (both) and Psylocke were on that cusp where old Mafex was improving, but it was Gambit that really showed us they turned the corner. I feel like it was really Gambit and Magneto that showed us they came to play.

Amazon Japan kicked me another Rogue delay.

This time it has no date. Usually it's just "next month", now it's "we'll get back to you"

Big Bad relisted Magneto and Cyclops today (blue and yellow) for any interested. No NRD required.

The full reveals are:

Movie Wolverine (masked/sleeveless)
The Flash Battfleck aka the Batman Who Ate All The Pies
Queen Maeve

Bold of them to switch to a 3/4 figure reveal schedule when they’re so backlogged but sure, whatever.

AmiAmi is resuming shipping to the US with ECMS air shipping and another option. The other option was literally being on a freight ship, so went with the mail option. They claim no fees will be collected at delivery. Says it’ll take 3-5 weeks. The shipping fee, which apparently was inclusive of tariffs, was about $20 per figure. I had a backlog of figures that hadn’t shipped over the last few months, is not sure if it’s a per-figure or per-shipment charge.

The figures averaged out to $115 a piece with all fees included, which is still less than the $140 plus tax and shipping BBTS charges.

I'm waiting for Rogue to come in to ship my pile from Nin Nin. Should be any minute now...

If things wind up stupid expensive maybe I'll sit on it until Jubilee comes in. Which should be any minute now...

I recently got a package from Amiami through ECMS. The time from package arrival at ECMS to Delivery was Oct 8 to Oct 14. At least a few days slower than DHL when I was usually getting packages in two days. ECMS handed off to USPS in LA and traveled all the way to the northeast. My regular mail carrier delivered with that day's mail and didn't ask for a signature. When I've used EMS, the packages would go out on a different truck and I needed to sign.

That’s not bad at all. I was expecting close to a month. I’ve lived in both NYC and Michigan the last few years and have been amazed at how quickly DHL delivered to both. Was literally 2-3 business days from shipping notification, which was like 2 business days after paying.

I’m just glad they’ve started shipping out again at all. I didn’t want to end up with like a ten figure backlog not accounted for in budgeting.

I think I’ll be selling off my Mafex Weapon X and Cyclops when they get here. They come with next to no accessories but the blasted things cost me $270 no thanks to the inflated shipping fees and tariffs. I’d rather recoup my money
