I think there was him and one other guy but I don’t think they got much exposure and don’t know their names so I wasn’t so fussed about having them although if the sculpts were based off the Madureira art then they’d all look great as figures

I believe you’re thinking of Ever, who had brain matter encompassing much (or possibly all) of his body. He was a powerful psionic. I believe he had a figure in the old Toybiz 5” line.
Can’t totally blame anyone for not remembering their names. Much of the original Gene Nation’s code names didn’t make any sense, like the writers picked words at random.

Would be interesting to see if they pursue other Madureira-heavy looks like Rogue in her pink/yellow space suit and Gambit in his grey/blue spacesuit. Both had figures from ToyBiz, and you know Hasbro wouldn't mind another Rogue/Gambit 2pk to capitalize off of either. I believe there was another Madureira-specific Bishop that was bald as well, but it was his Onslaught look rather than the space suit as I recall.

I had forgotten about armored Callisto, but she did show up armored as well when she and Marrow popped up during Zero Tolerance. We really do need a ZT specific humanoid Bastion and some cyborg ZT Sentinels, the Haslab ones were a nice touch, but I'd prefer a Hellfire Goon-style release where you can army build them, maybe with just a different head/hands rather than any weapons since they didn't need firearms to function.

The only thing I'd change is ditching the pink domino masks some of them have but Doug's keeping the Cyke visor and Sam the Sci-Fi helmet. Warlock can be the build-a-figure.

Should the figures have crazy stilt legs like Sam and Dani in that image? Like the proportions are egregious there.

Art Adams has done some great work... that splash page looks like Art let Rob Liefeld pinch hit for him. Bad art is bad art even of its done by a great artist.

IDK how I missed this thread but Pixie, Hellion, Armor, Rasputin IV, Synch, Skin, Gentle, Monet/Penance (House of X era), Psylocke (80s), and Rogue (Uncanny Avengers vol. 1) are my top 10 X-Wants right now. Besides the Morrison NXM looks. There are very few X-Men I wouldn't buy.

Pixie, Trevor Fitzroy, the pink/yellow Rogue space costume, the blue/grey Gambit space costume, Erik the Red, the remaining Gen X characters (and a period accurate Emma Frost and Banshee), woody Black Tom, some more AOA characters, some more X-Treme X-Men (preferably Gambit, Psylocke, Beast, Storm, Bishop, Rogue and Sage), some kind of another Bastion and comic-accurate OZT human sized hybrid Sentinels, Magneto's 90s Acolytes, Zaladane and Garrok, blue/white Archangel/Angel, Gateway, the remaining Reavers, some Phalanx, 90s Marrow from the GenX line updated to name a few. I wouldn't mind Shard, Malcolm and Randall from the XSE to stand beside Bishop either. Deluxe Onslaught.
