Volcana is the most glaring omission from the original Secret Wars story. To leave her out sucks!
 
Iā€™m beginning to wonder something. In the likely event that we see an alternate Daredevil costume in this new body (either the shadowland or the classic Yellow suit being the most obvious choices) of the two suits, which one do you think would be the more popular variant? I know the shadowland costume has found its audience in the last few years and while its niche, I think it may prove to be one of the more popular variants out there. The yellow suit is obviously a classic even though itā€™s atrocious looking. And frankly I think based on the design of this new body, Hasbro might ā€œblessā€ us with the less well known variant that had the smaller classic daredevil logo vs the larger single ā€œDā€ symbol.

Yeah thatā€™s a good point. Although technically speaking the costume from this next season of Born again looks more like an adaptation of the Marvel Now look. Or was it All New-All Different?? The post 2015 Secret Wars suit. Shadowland was more perverse. It had the longer demonic horns on the mask, the illuminated red eyes, the blades on the back of the wrist and the giant off center logo. Also Matt was like 2 ft taller and about 500 lbs heavier once he was fully subsumed by The Beast.

I want the next first appearance Daredevil to not just be a repainted whatever the most up-to-date Daredevil body is. It needs to be slightly baggier with the unitard sculpted instead of just painted on. Same with the Fantastic Four and OG X-Men - skintight repaints just don't do the trick for capturing those earliest appearances.

Yeah definitely I have no idea why Hasbro constantly makes this variant o or why Marvel insists upon it every chance they get. Itā€™s not a popular design with the fandom at all. Hell the 90ā€™s armored suit has more currency within the fan base either out of bonafide appreciation and see it as even a better design than the red suit or because theyā€™ve placed it somewhere in the top 5.

Daredevil has worn some cool suits over the years but the yellow suit is detestable.

Well youā€™re definitely in the minority. Did you know that suit originally came equipped with a built-in napsack that was stitched to the back of his costume so that way Daredevil had a place to store his suit without leaving his clothes behind?
