S.H. Figuarts Marvel Figures

I think we can throw Mafex and figma in there as well. I’m brand loyal to a fault, but I’m finally beginning to realize that the gap in overall quality between domestic and Japanese brands is rapidly narrowing while the gap in price is rapidly widening.
I think the consistency is down, too. From release to release, there's no telling what will be good. If I'm buying a $100 figure, I shouldn't have a laundry list of complaints.

If it's Magneto, I think I'd be interested. I passed on Wolverine because somehow the Hasbro version was better, but Hasbro hasn't made MvC Magneto yet, so....

Yeah.

There are many ways that figure could be topped.

But based off what we've seen and gotten. And based off what they're doing in other lines. I agree, SHF cannot top it.

I can't believe I'm saying it, but I doubt SHF could top Hasbro's Gamerverse Psylocke.

The Hasbro figure was one of the top three of last year so yea it'll be tough for them. But Hasbro only went part of the way towards the thicc legs the Capcom Psylocke has, so if Bandai goes all the way with the Bengus style for her I'm probably in.

Yeah, let's see this portrait.

If you’re releasing a fully posable Psylocke figure, you’ve automatically got my attention, but yeah…given what we’ve been experiencing with Japanese import lines lately…both in terms of cost and quality…Bandai is going to have to hit this one out of the park in the promo shots to get a preorder from me.
