I never thought the average high-end 1/12 figure would cost $100. At least, not for a long while. I remember thinking the original Mezco One:12 Collective figures were crazy at $65.

Now we've got 1/12 figures pushing $200. Most 1000toys figures are near that price now. Hell, I paid $135 for a Figma Link this year. I don't plan to make a habit of that, though. I hope they rein it in.

Yeah, the 1000 Toys Hellboy is about $200 Canadian, and even as someone who a accepts 100-130 for a higher end figure, I just don't see anything about that figure (which is also old at this point) that screams that price.

Picked up wee Alex in here one of the sales, got him for a song, along with a few others still in transit.

The level of detail and finish is awesome, I guess I finally get what Kaiju Daddy meant when he said folks were sleeping on this guy.

I only just watched the film recently, and while I didn't much care for it...I did think Donnie was awesome in it. So given HLJ had him on a nice discount* a few weeks back, I figured "eh, may as well". When you see how few accessories other figures come with, this guy just takes the mick - 2 canes plus the sword and casing, 2 pistols, an extra head and torso, 11 pairs of hands(!), 3 motion sensors, and, uh, a pencil. I get the impression it was a labour of love for whoever was tasked with doing it.
