I’ve been praying for an Extremis armor Iron Man from Marvel’s Civil War for the past 3 fucking years now and each year I give my hopes up.

Admittedly I haven't kept up with Hot Toys in years, but I don't understand how that figure works. It looks like a goddamn statue. Incredible, even if it has limited articulation.

Yeah this figure is easily going to be as tall as that Spider-Man 2 venom figure that was like 20” tall . Maybe even taller if you include the ears. I think t the end of the day, the figure (much like the story it’s derived from) is a bizzare choice and I could care less.

I agree, flavor of the month choice that nobody will care about in 5 years. I want to support Hot Toys efforts, I did PO the Killing Joke Joker. If we get a Bolland Batman I would be in but weird variants...cannot afford the space.
 
I ended up with a small bonus from work, so naturally I spent it on things I normally wouldn't. Or would, but would feel bad about, and now I don't have to lol

Found the deluxe Golden Armor Wonder Woman on sale at PopCultcha, and she just arrived yesterday. Took the tiniest of peeks at it, can't wait to get her set up. The movie wasn't very good, but the figure is gorgeous.

I also just grabbed the BvS Batman 2.0 (regular edition) and I'm considering the 2.0 Armored Batman. None of them will have any sort of movement, but they'll look nice.

Non-DC related, I currently have the Episode 3 Vader, Anakin, and Obi Wan all on preorder at Sideshow, along with Robocop from Robocop 2. And I paid off the new Beetlejuice and he should be shipping soon.
 
Does anyone have the SDCC Mondo Man-Bat? If so, are there any issues with it? I had an unopened one and am planning to open it soon. I do seem to remember someone mentioning it breaking somewhere.

Only heard that it was top heavy and that you had to pose it pretty generically to keep it upright. Never heard of any breakages.
 
I went completely hog-wild on the Hot Toys stuff, filling in gaps that I had. I'm going to regret that in about three weeks. But in the meantime, BvS Batman 2.0 came in yesterday and he's AMAZING. He actually, surprisingly, has some poseability to him, nothing like a standard action figure but quite a bit for a Hot Toys Batman. The Affleck head sculpt is nearly as good as the Keaton sculpt that came with BR.

I think I have Armored Batman coming in tomorrow.
 
Dang - Supes is already sold out.

Surprised both Lois and Mr. Can't-Spell-His-Name are exclusives. All that money to make the sculpts.
