That kind of sucks to me. I really like the community around a forum. Facebook groups and Reddit just don’t build that.

Discord is fine too, but like once you get a discord going nobody ever finds out about it and joins in ever again. It’s just stuck.

I used to like thefwoosh forums a lot but they’ve had so many server issues that it’s basically just inactive now it seems

I'm trying to remember all of the specifics of it. I know I got a warning for a sarcastic replay to someone who was complaining about some MOTUC figure being delayed because the shipping vessel had hit bad weather coming from China. They were going in hard on Scott Neitlich for it and blaming him and I had some sarcastic response about him using his weather machine just to mess with everyone. (Neitlich is a a bit of a dork, but this was definitely not his fault and that figure shipped out like a week later)

I think what did it for me was that I was complaining in Fwoosh about how weird He-man.org was and someone found out and banned me for it. The forum had a specific rule when you signed up that you weren't allowed to bad mouth the forum elsewhere. Which to me says that it was a common issue given how awful that place was.

Those folks were straight up weird. Like bronie level werid.

Anyways, I'm planning on going to Power Con's MOTU themed con in Cincinnati next year, lol.

lol. I never knew about that rule. I used to lurk on there for the news. Someone has way too much time if they are hunting down people bad mouthing a forum in order to ban them.

That tracks. I actually do remember that rule. I was on .org for a very brief period of time before it was obvious I wasn't going to thrive there. It wasn't so much too many/strict rules, but that the rules kept changing based on whoever was currently the primary moderator. So sometimes you were not allowed to defend Scott, and other times it was a crime against humanity to make fun of his haircut. No consistency there. Wild place.

Nice, I love Freaks. I'm mostly a lurker, but I post occasionally. Great group, for the most part.
 
BBTS put the new 2 up for preorder for a next month release, and there are apparently 3 weapon sets they are reissuing for sometime in spring. That sounds sort of like early next year. 2 of the sets they're reissuing are kinda meh though. The shotgun one is the one that is sold out most places. I do own one of the ones they're redoing, and its... fine. Unfortunately most of the guns I really can't find places for. But the grenades and the AR went to Frank immediately. My Bernthal Punisher has the AR in his hands as we speak. And he also got the big ass LMG now that I think about it.

He mentioned on a previous post the rereleases might have some sort of bonus or something? Anybody see more about that?
 
Wouldn’t surprise. Vala’s been pretty upfront about taken advantage of paid off tooling to either lower prices or add more
