2025-2026 Rumor/Leak List - UPDATED List 12-4-25 (after Brazil Panel)

Also, pure speculation, but of the 4 figures grouped together in early lists that had BAF next to their names (if that list is to be believed), they skew Avengers:
Hawkeye - Avenger, or if it's Bullseye - Dark Avengers (cost cutting figure)
Marrina - honorary Avenger (budget used to create scale swimsuit)
Robbie Reyes - Avenger (cost cutting figure because he's already made)
Wolverine - Avenger (possible cost cutting figure)

Can you imagine the pure joy of what would happen if the other three are and the BAF is:
Demolition Man - classic Avenger (cost cutting figure)
Graviton - Avenger enemy (cost cutting figure)
Diamondback - Avengers/Cap enemy/ally (cost cutting figure)
BAF - Attuma (most of the budget goes to him)

If that were the BAF line up I would lose it. It would be so...SO good. I might prefer Dr, Druid to D-Man as my obscure Avenger... especially if Wolverine is in the wave, since D-Man is just a mash up of Wolverine and Daredevil's yellow suit... I think Dr Druid would be easier to put together than D-Man, too Since I'm not sure all the parts exist for his thick body. Also, D-Man should really be packed with an unmasked Dunphy head.

Dr Druid is just straight repaint body and a new head. And good ol' Anthony was from the same Avengers era as Marrina... so goes well thematically too.

But its a wave I would swoon at nonetheless

I totally agree that Dr. Druid would be one of the best choices - budget wise.
I almost put Gilgamesh in that slot since most BAF waves have a "big guy" and the classic toga-ish costume with the chest strap seems like a lot of Thor/Herc/Skurge borrowed parts. I prefer his costume with the horned helmet, but the other look is the most economical.
I then almost put Triathlon because like Diamondback and Graviton, he's almost all re-use parts but went with D-Man because he is more classic and is that blend of Daredevil and Wolverine that Hasbro probably thinks might fool the common shopper.
I passed on Swordsman because I'm holding out hope for him to be in a 2-pack with Mantis.
I didn't put Two-Gun Kid or Living Lightning because my goal was to include a character that needs minimal tooling.
I didn't include Stingray or Jack of Hearts since Dwight poo-poo'd them to me at SDCC.
But in all reality, the one figure that would go perfectly into this half fantasy wave that we are pretty sure is coming is Jim Hammond Human Torch, but him, like Lady Deadpool, Psylocke and U.S. Agent would be perfect for a mini-comic wave because he has name recognition "hot" off of the FF movie.

On a side note, every time I list all the unmade classic Avengers it makes me glad we got Starfox but bums me out that we are still missing so many cool figures, and I didn't even list the missing classic female Avengers... Mantis, Firebird, SIlverclaw, Lionheart...

Dwight poo-poo'd Stingray, too?! I don't know how I missed that.

He's a huge nostalgic fave of mine (thanks "Marvel Two-in-One"), I'd be so disappointed if we never got him. I get that his costume sort of an engineering challenge, but c'mon! He'd look so cool!

-Stingray - engineering the wings is difficult and costly
-Jack of Hearts - paint apps are too costly
-Guardians of the Galaxy were "too difficult", although I pointed out that Martinex was doable just use the Crystar body, Nikki could be done easily by slightly modifying the X-Men '97 Jean in the short green dress that was in the case right behind us that I pointed out, Charlie-27 could be done an any number of big bucks as mentioned Drax and Controller (even though I think Charlie-27 is blockier but don't tell Dwight), and the only issue with Starhawk is how to make his yellow wing things (whatever they are).

Yeah too costly is sort of a crazy excuse for almost any of this stuff. Toy companies all the time release figures that utilize all new sculpts at standard prices... look at the Masterverse line by Mattel, for example (I know its licensed line vs unlicensed, even so). Tons of single use sculpts at regular prices.

The excuse is knee jerk but its a tad thin. They do all new sculpts when they want to.

I think it’s the relative popularity of each of those characters that’s more the issue. If Punisher had a stingray cape or had colorful hearts all over his trench coat they’d figure it out in no time. It’s probably harder to budget when the figure is unlikely to be a great seller. And I say this with regret, since Beamish’s list is basically most of my Top 10.

Yeah, Dwight seemed a little ... different at SDCC this year.

He was his normal easy going and talkative self, but he did seem to be a little less than positive when it came to certain characters. He didn't come right out and say "no" to anything, but he didn't sound real hopeful either. He seemed doubtful about my suggestions for more Asgardians (particularly the Warriors Three), more Serpent Society and more Invaders (Bucky and Toro). That's not like Dwight. He's usually much more positive than that.

And then at the panel the next day, they showed us a Bronze Age monster (Werewolf By Night), a cowboy (Phantom Rider) two long requested mutant team builders (Feral and Rachel), a World War II character (Logan), the rest of the Inhumans and a long in demand Avenger (Starfox). So I don't know what to think. If they can finish off the Inhumans than they can make the Guardians and the Asgardians. If they made Starfox they can make Stingray. If they made Phantom Rider they can make Two-Gun Kid.

I don't know what's going in Pawtucket or Burbank these days. If I had to guess, I think there's someone over Dwight and Dan's head, either at Hasbro or Disney, who's being difficult to deal with. And that may be a reason why Ryan's gone. If that's the case then it'll probably be okay. Those execs don't usually stay in the same position for long. Whoever it is will probably move to a different division before too much longer.

Let's see what the 2026 SDCC brings. I'm curious.

That is interesting. There's such a stark contrast between "No, too difficult/obscure" and then ending the year with a bunch of well made deep cuts like Deathbird, Triton, Gorgon, Starfox, Champion of the Universe, Cardiac...

Precisely.

One of us is going to have to break into Hasbro's HQ and bug the place so we can find out what's going on.

I nominate @Justice. He's a sneaky little shit.

As I recall, he once broke into that hotel in Washington. What was it called? The Watergate?

He never did get caught.

While I'm very flattered that you have so much faith in me, as someone who is 6'4" and kind of clumsy I'm going to recommend someone who might have better stealth abilities if we want this mission to be successful. I'd have a real hard time getting through a laser defense system.

Or ask Resilient. He knows things.

I don't like the answer either - "it's expensive" is not the end of a sentence - it's the beginning. Especially when there is all evidence to the contrary that "it's expensive" is not that big a problem when they feel like it.

Stingray - two capes - arms forward flared, arms down, relaxed - like Black Bolt. He's basically a blank buck otherwise.
Jack - sculpt the detail and wash the black in. Or print the detail onto the sculpt if it's cheaper. Two heads - classic and modern!

Neither idea is groundbreaking or something that wasn't done in the last batch of releases.

The idea that a teenage Bucky is hard to do is pretty crazy. Yeah. He's a decent amount of new pieces. Put him in a 2 pack with the a Secret Wars Cap with a new head sculpt with the "helmet type" mask, flesh colored neck and a triangle Shield. Do the box up all red, white and blue retro. That thing would sell great.

Your lips to God's ears.

Or the Living Tribunal. Or Eternity. Or whoever it takes to get us some more Invaders.
