I feel that way about Valkyrie on my Defenders shelf. Sure she's post-2014 Hasbro, but she looks downright archaic next to her teammates.

I'd take a few of the more visually interesting/ prominent members (e.g. Barbarus, Brain-Child, Lorelei, Amphibius). The first few issues of "Marvel Fanfare" are some of the first comics I remember owning/ reading, so the nostalgia pull would be strong.

I'd be pretty excited about classic Turbo. Character/ costume that stuck out to me since I was introduced to her in an encyclopedia ages ago. Funny thing is, I don't know that I've ever read a single comic with her.

For a fairly minor character, Nekra lends herself to making up one half of some pretty awesome two-packs. Mandrill or Shanna would be excellent options (and honestly, a more classic Shanna would totally make up for the SDCC version being so hard to get), as would an updated Grim Reaper.

Classic Nekra is a huge yes -- though I'd be more emphatic about her if I could actually have gotten ahold of Shanna. :(

Marvel's Godzilla was my first comic-reading memories. Doctor Demonicus would be great. Given the lack of a Marvel Godzilla to display him with (unlikely to change any time soon), I think I'd put him with my Shogun Warriors Godzilla.
