The only Pops I own are the Hostess mascots bc they actual look like the characters. Of course the black blank eyes annoyed me so I did a quick paint job to complete the look. The child me in the 1970s always had Hostess envy. Obviously the comic ads but basically it was the rich and/or spoiled...
X-Men 98. The first issue I bought off the 7-11 rack; with a Slurpee naturally. Shit I’m old
I use the Haslab as Master Mold and the MU ones as the drones as well. I suppose with this new one coming out I should move the MU one on. This one tags more classic vibes for sure.
I guess there's Mr Fear and Death Stalker as well. I never thought of Mr Hyde as particularly a DD villain but I'd take a proper one of course. I got Benty's custom head which helped but still needs an Inverness cloak. As others have stated a better OG Elektra on a better body, red ninja suit...
They probably really should have started The Marvels with a 20 minute scene of her going nuclear on Hala. Tearing it apart and dismantling the Supreme Intelligence. Make it fairly brutal and final. The immediate emotional aftermath is it does nothing for Carol's trauma, doesn't bring closure and...
I always liked the idea that Xavier might be using his powers to rip off insider traders, corporatists, corrupt senators, etc. Amassing his wealth to fund his child soldier war. Placing him in yet another morally grey area.
Bout to say. Look at the line work on the shading on her legs and arms. It’s clearly implying that is fur. Her face is all white bc to do much in black would negate her features in a 70s four color comic. They prob should have skunk spotted her hair though.
I didn’t need a 9” tall Ch’od. He’s maybe a little smaller than need be but that’s so rare in this line that loves to scale creep things up. Cough cough Odin cough cough Gorgon. He did need his rifle and anothe pass with the paint (something I can do sometime)
D&D already had their action figures; miniatures. They didn’t need another scale. Not that that is why anyone plays anymore but D&D came out of historical war gaming. Miniatures were always going to be the default.
I don't think this particular type of cloak will look good with any soft goods and will be particularly difficult cast in soft plastic. I mean there's the #1 cover look which TB did but that isn't really a Colan Dracula
Doing a true Colan Dracula is really going to be nearly impossible. In those comics he wears a big flowing cloak more than a cape over the tuxedo. Colan uses it to make it seem like Dracula often barely has form. Shifting in and out of the shadows, mist etc. Cloth goods will just look like a big...
