I try too. Usually anyone who's origins I change has a reason too. For example Doc is from the same place in Kenya as Doctor M'Benga from Star Trek. Outback is Australian (Because he always was to me as a kid) as is Recondo, because he was in Action Force. A few of the guys get their action...

Its a Recondo head with the moustache trimmed down, repainted and added some scars to make it look different.
