MOST of the packs were random, with completely different titles. You'd sometimes stumble across some with the same title together, but those were rare. I even remember a couple of times getting a pack with a title from a different company in there. "Oh cool, this bag has a Marvel Team-Up and an...

I'm considering getting the Desert Scorpion just for the giant scorpion he comes with. I mean, it would look pretty cool to have Conan fighting a huge honkin' scorpion.

It occurs to me that Hasbro could easily do some Konami X-Men arcade figures and repurpose this one for the brown costume Wolverine. They'd also be able to get some more mileage out of the 97 Cyclops, Storm, and Nightcrawler with some paint variations and maybe new heads. I'd honestly be...

My parents, especially my mom, were always on my ass about dating, possibly because they are hardcore fundies and they were probably worried their theater loving son would be gay. Like you though, whenever I DID date, they absolutely hated her. One girlfriend they were pretty relentless with, to...

Well, since most of my wrasslin' figures I use as victims in scenes with the likes of Jason, I love when they make heads like that, since they legit look more like they are screaming for their lives than about to deliver a beatdown! But yeah, I can see how it would bug the crap out of someone...

Oh man...I used to get these all the time! It was always cool to find out what the middle book would be! I know many family members would give me these for birthdays & Christmas, because it was a cheap way to make me happy! By the way, I distinctly remember getting a three pack with that Conan...

Drag Me to Hell is fantastic! There are some moments in that flick that hearken back to the Evil Dead series, so that sorta gives you an idea of the tone (though all the ED films have some distinct tones throughout). Breaking down Raimi's Evil Dead entries: Evil Dead is a low budget horror...

Oh man...I freakin' LOVE Raimi! Most especially his horror stuff...Evil Dead 2 is one of my all-time favorites! I love the over-the-top horror and comedy blended so perfectly together. Demon-possessed deer heads...we just don't have enough movies with possessed taxidermy!

The JLA/Avengers was fantastic. Busiek's story was really entertaining, and Perez reminded everyone why he is the GOAT. I liked that it was an actual meeting of the two universes, and not just an "Earth 7642" tale where all the heroes had always coexisted (I'm curious to see if Deadpool/Batman...

Ah, okay. I see your logic here. I vaguely remember that story, though for some reason I thought time travel was involved. Don't remember much about Secret Invasion, honestly, as it didn't really interest me all that much. He is on my shelf as Mar-Vell, but whatever gets us a redo on that figure...

Yes to Doctor Demonicus. As Beamish noted, an incredibly toyetic design, plus I loved the Marvel Godzilla series as a kid.

I have no idea who Khn'nr is. Looked like classic Captain Marvel to me, but I do agree the figure is rather lacking.

Howling will always have a place in my heart as it was the first werewolf movie I saw besides the original Wolf Man. I love the design of the wolves in that movie. Silver Bullet does have a cheesy creature design, but the movie is so good I can overlook it. By the way, a friend of mine did a...

True...most werewolf flicks kinda suck, which is why the good ones really stand out. Hard for me to pick a favorite, but American Werewolf is up there, as is Dog Soldiers.

My "last movies watched" list: Final Destination: Bloodlines- Basically, each one of these flicks is a remake of the first. They frequently contradict their own lore, and are often incredibly predictable, but...eh...I don't care. They are entertaining, low-thought movies showcasing creative...

My understanding is that they plan to do more spinoffs, in addition to the HBO Max series. I've heard that Wilson and Farmiga don't want to keep doing these movies though, which is why this is supposedly the "last" one, but if the series does well I'm sure they can use whoever they cast as the...

Are you referring to some look for Mar-Vell besides his iconic superhero look? Because Hasbro has done him as Captain Marvel.

    McFarlane DC Multiverse

Oh, it's absolutely iconic. I love the flick, and I still can clearly remember the excitement of seeing it in the theater opening weekend. For all its faults, it was an incredible theatrical experience.
