    Operation Monster Force

The suit buck is fantastic and the Blackwatch Agent and General Brown are two of my favorites in the entire line. Simple figures when well executed are irresistible to me. If these weren’t $40 each I’d probably pick up another pair of each of them.

    Operation Monster Force

Been slowly opening the new figures and so far haven’t felt there has been a bad figure. The General and Blackwatch agent are simpler than the trooper figures but they nailed what they were going for. Caligari and the aerial trooper go great with the previous sleep walkers. Caligari has such a...

    Four Horsemen Studios Mythic Legions

They go to a lot of cons and I could see these being good entry level items for people discovering them at cons. $20 to try them out vs $55 to try them out is much more likely someone unfamiliar with them to take a chance on. I just wish they offered a full set online and made the chase just a...

    Four Horsemen Studios Mythic Legions

I’m just glad it’s nonsensical colored skeletons they tried this with and not something that could have been an ‘armory experience’ with different armor options. I don’t need any of these skeletons. Even a red or green might have had some use but these aren’t something I can see really needing...

    NECA - General Thread

Soft goods are but and miss. Some like Mezco and the Four Horsemen are great. Hasbro and ‘retro’ style figures are not. When done well they can really add something sculpture can’t as easily replicate. When done wrong, it just looks like a big shapeless blanket suffocating the figure. I have to...

    Operation Monster Force

Official canon-wise, Dracula is actually working with Van Helsing against the Forgotten King. Obviously trusting Dracula is never something to do but if you’re looking to balance the shelf out a bit he should be on the other side. I wouldn’t be surprised if we get some back-stabbing moment down...

    Operation Monster Force

Been waiting on the newest wave to arrive. BBTS put a direct signature requirement on the shipment, which is super annoying when they were due Saturday. Had it held as I would most likely not been home. They couldn’t deliver it to the pick up location (Walgreens) because they were ‘closed’ but...

    Jada Toys Scooby Doo

Totally understandable. I was just pointing out that big bad Hasbro has to charge $28 for a 6” figure now, a smaller, more indie toy company charging just $2 more for something pretty comparable to what Hasbro would do with the line seems fairly reasonable. Granted, I think we all agree modern...

    Jada Toys Scooby Doo

Hasbro 6” figures are $28 now so… yeah.

    Jada Toys Scooby Doo

Frank Welker being the one and only Fred all of these years (pup named Scooby Doo and the Scoob and live action movies aside) has always impressed me. So I’m looking forward to Fred too.

    Hasbro possibly doing Tron?

I wonder how much Hasbro may fudge its numbers? I can’t imagine they plopped down for that license and then not make the toys they paid to make. Unless the license was a beg from Disney to spark some interest in the new film? I don’t see that Haslab funding either.

    Four Horsemen Studios Mythic Legions

One thing of note from the live stream, they consider the graveyard almost the opposite of Figure Obscura. FO is meant to give us specific characters rather than generic archetypes. The much talked about leprechauns wouldn’t fit in the FO line as there isn’t a particularly famous leprechaun...

    Four Horsemen Studios Mythic Legions

I think the blind boxes would be a nice item for them to have at cons. People might balk at a $55 figure if they’ve never heard of them before. $20 for a figure to try out is more reasonable and people seem to LOVE those blind boxes gambles at cons of my local con is anything to go by. But since...

    Four Horsemen Studios Mythic Legions

Yeah, nothing pisses me off like blind boxes. Just let me buy what I want. I really wish those would go away or at least offer a ‘full set’ option so I can just get one of everything. The 12 pack at least gives you the guarantee of the chase but I wish it was just a 5 pack.

Skelton info Do we need a separate graveyard thread now? Haha

    Four Horsemen Studios Mythic Legions

Zombies are singles, not a two pack. $42 preorder price for each of them or $55 at retailers later. Soft goods (different colors than on the base figures) are $20 preorder and $25 retail.
  17. Buttmunch

    Four Horsemen Studios Mythic Legions

Yes, that was the plan to sell these at retailer MSRP since the in stock drop didn’t include any preorder discount.

    Operation Monster Force

Not really sure what to think of this ‘the Order’ nun figure. Monster fighting nuns could be fun but I can’t really say I’m liking the body armor body. Maybe if she comes with some soft goods robe to cover most of that up she could still be a classical looking nun. Their approach to the female...

    Four Horsemen Studios Mythic Legions

Looking like we’ll be seeing this year’s graveyard offering next week based on Jermey’s teaser at the end of Mythic Conversations last night. It was another black and white graveyard so maybe we’re getting night of the living dead inspired black and white zombies? I’d rather they ditch the...

    Operation Monster Force

That’s making it sound like the next wave isn’t going to be much further behind this massive dump of figures. Hopefully it’s not until next year at least. Nothing for years and then too much all at once. Collecting is a strange hobby haha.

    Four Horsemen Studios Mythic Legions

A few more new Legends of Mythoss/ Legions Con exclusives got revealed tonight. I figured we wouldn’t see the Graveyard offering until the Legends of Mythoss wave 1 preorders end on Oct. 5. That’s a fairly short window for a 4H preorder so it’s likely dictated by needing to move on to the next...

    Mezco One:12

https://www.mezcotoyz.com/doc-vs-yeti Arctic Doc Noc and Yeti 2 pack is up. They had me at Yeti. Just with the Yeti was more traditional (ie no third eye or giant tusks) but it seems well done by early reviews I’ve seen.

    Four Horsemen Studios Mythic Legions

I feel like a new helmet or two to match the wear and roughness of the new orc armor has to be on the way. That additional texture to the armor makes the older helmets stand out with their smoothness.

    1/12 Diorama/Terrain/Props/Vehicles

For all the people wanting a Blackbird Haslab, that shows just how this un-doable that actually would be. Even a scaled down one that fits like 4 figures would still be huge.
