My concern is that they'll lack the sculpted detail I associate with comic based MLs. Several '97 figures streamline and smooth out a bunch of sculpted detail, which works fine for the animated source material, but I'm gonna want Quitely designs to retain their detail.

Maybe a fedora from an Indiana Jones 3 3/4 figure? There are several 1:12 scale dollhouse upright pianos available on Amazon, most for under $20. I don't know how well that will scale with Palisades Rowlf, but for $15, it's worth a gamble.
